EaterMarch 28, 2013People's is worth seeking out even if you're not catching a flick at the nearby Angelika. Relaxed but classy, they make a mean Old-Fashioned, as well as barrel-aged cocktails and massive tiki drinks.

I love this place! It is very chill. The drinks are amazing! The Sunday vibe is the best as there is a DJ. You have to go when in Dallas!
Ask for the Slow Roasted Chicken Flat!! Its an off menu chef special -Slow Roasted Chicken with Rosemary, bechemel and parm sauce! OMG!!
Get anything muddled with jalapeños. Menu changes pretty frequently. Also had a bad experience with the mac and cheese (was more like soup, sent it back) but drinks are awesome.

On my list of Best Mixology Cocktail Bars in Dallas! To get an amazing drink simply tell your server or bartender what flavors you like. They will take it from there.
Order off the menu. Give them ingredients you like in a drink and you'll be pleasantly surprised. TIP THEM WELL!
