- Hotel only offers valet parking, for $32/day (plus tips). The valet will park your car in the multi-story directly across Columbia St., which charges $15/day if you do it yourself.
- E B GAugust 8, 2013Seriously amazing hotel! I've traveled all over the States and World, and this hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed in! Breathtaking views!
- Stop by the bar and try one of their specialty cocktails!! So many to chose from and all delicious!!Upvoted Aug 27
- Lucas Barcelos de OliveiraFebruary 7, 2015The rooms are comfortable and with the usual Westin amenities. There are a many curtains, so if you prefer a very dark room have a mask ready. Breakfast buffet is excellenand except for the pastries.
- Forget the valet parking, park in the lot across the street on Columbia (it's where valet parks your car). $20 across the street, $40 to valet i the same lot.
- SılaJanuary 24, 2015Breakfast Buffet is amazing; Blueberry Pancakes, Musli Cups, Eggs Benedict, Ham, Bacon, Chocolate Bagels...
- Sharon HicksNovember 8, 2012The fruit water is great! They have increased them to four. The restaurant is cozy too.
- TillApril 2, 2015Update on the parking prices: Hotel Valet is now $44, self-park across the street is $25.
- Lia WallJune 8, 2014Brian is the shit!!! He will call Broadway Pizza and have them deliver to your room until 4am!!!! #ballin
- AmateurConciergeAugust 5, 2016Standard corporate hotel with enough to do within walking distance. Watch the free computers closely! They may overcharge u
- Conveniently located within walking distance of the train station.
- Meliss & Woody JuarezJanuary 18, 2013If you leave your workout clothes at home, they provide like new New Balance shoes and all the works for $5.
- Forgot to pack sneakers, but you can rent nice New Balances for $5 a day!
- Beds are super comfy! My only complaint is the fragrance/scent in the rooms & common areas of the hotel. Allergies galore!
- Christine KominiakSeptember 23, 2012#Best #breakfast deal at the #Westin #SanDiego cafe, HUGE #burrito made to order!
- Michael GoldrichApril 25, 2012Loved the view from the 19th floor (pacific ocean/bay) and the glass elevator ride on the way up!
- The 'spa' at this Westin is almost non-existent. There's a spa two blocks north - Spa Velia on B street between Columbia and State St.
- In-room Wifi is $13/day, or $40/week. Seems to be per device, too. It's free for hotel residents in the lobby only. Should be free, room rates already high for a hotel needing refurbishment
- Potentially the worse downtown hotel I've ever stayed in :0(. Just one little piece but could you clean the windows once in awhile??
- Rooms are a little tired, overdue for a refresh. Not up to the usual Westin standard (though still better than many). Still a Westin from a service level perspective, thankfully.
- Travel a fair bit and this #westin has a lot of room for improvement. Room is hot (AC sucks - no pun intended), every employee you ask a question to seems like you are bothering them!
- I love the fruit water that is down in the lobby, 3 different options.
- Felix JCOctober 19, 2014You booked on Hotwire? Congrats, fair deal. You laid the first price? Damn, wifi costs ridiculously much, rooms are decent but not great, pool looks kind of sad.
- Juan LalindeFebruary 11, 2015We had our company party here, food was good but some of the logistics could be improved
- Vinny DelusionsOctober 21, 2013Manager Amy Beck needs some additional training with her customer service soft skills. Rolling eyes at a customer, who wants to give the hotel money, should never be part of the hospitality experience
- Refresh and rehydrate with watermelon, pineapple or grapefruit infused water in the lobby.
- 'Double' rooms are literally two double beds, not the typical two queens. They will provide a rollaway bed on request at no charge, subject to availability.
- Breakfast at the hotel is pricey for distinctly average food and selection. There's several other choices nearby, like the Grand Central Cafe at 500 Broadway.
- Chris KarchSeptember 25, 2012The bar area is not big enough and lack speedy service. Would be nice to have tap beer
- This place rocks and the Front desk staff are the best I've ever experienced!
