Best traditional bakery in town ! Pineapple cakes and 奶黃小月餅 are my favourite. Just be aware that they go stale quickly (advised to be 6 days for some pastries)
(5/5) Hands down the best 太陽餅 (suncake) and traditional/typical 鳳梨酥 (pineapple cake) I've ever had, in Taiwan or elsewhere. Both of these are best served after toasting for a short while in the oven.
This place is known for their moon cakes but do not discount the sun cakes- the longan sun cake has a mild sweetness and light flaky outer shell - great for teatime or pre-workout snack
Get their mini mung beanmoon cakes. The mung bean filing is moist, smooth, not overly sweet, and without additions of savory bits like minced pork or salty egg yolk.
