Rue. SATOHDecember 31, 20211872 年開設の諸工伝集所に端を発する陸軍砲兵工科学校が当地 (水戸藩邸跡) にあったことを示す碑で、礫川公園の小石川台地上南端に立つ。水戸藩邸跡には東京砲兵工廠も建設され、小石川台地の地下にはトンネル射撃場も設けられた。当碑の南側斜面にトンネル射撃場への入口が残されているが、現在は封鎖され立入禁止となっている。
