Artichoke is a labour of love and you can tell. Each dish has character, the service is engaging enough that I go on my own knowing I'll have fun. The sharing dish specials are always fantastic.
It's a blessing to be able to have a meal, what more with such an enjoyable one at artichoke. Beetroottzatziki, burnt asparagus, samke harra (seared salmon), chargrilled squid were simply fantastic
Brunch is great! Shakshuka with lamb is yummy - generous amounts of succulent lamb meat deceptively hiding under the sauce, very satisfying. Outside patio is the place to be, great atmosphere&service
I think, how long will exist this cafe, so I'll be here for a long time to come! There are good cuisine, atmosphere & staff. My favorite dishes Feta Burrate-22$;Skillet Prawns-36$;Falafel-18$.Bill 2-100$
Cauliflower kushari. Egyptian rice topped with cauliflower & smoked egg. We enjoyed the light citrus taste, as well as the texture & crunchiness with each bite
delicious brunch w/ a Mexican twist (nachos, avocado, corn) & halloumi. latte was a lil watery but scrumptious food made up 4 it. love the ambience & menu offering. will return again 4 sure
Location and the friendly atmosphere there should be the main reasons for visiting this place. The owner is talkative w/ gr sense of humor. Portions aren’t large thought delicious & not spicy at all.
Bread is very nice and so are the hummus, squid inkcouscous and lamb. The staff is very nice and the owner makes sure to come and say hello. Overall a nice experience
Love the pork belly & roast chicken dishes. Really filling for 2 pax. Pita bread was a bit thick but goes well with hummus. Was delighted by yoghurt that was served w the chicken - extra kick to it!
I've been here 4 times & have tried 14 dishes. LOVED: 1) Date Pudding (Sticky) 2) Smoked Oyster Taramasalata 3) Soft Scrambled Eggs, Thick Cut Maple Bacon Chop. See Top 10 dishes on Foodmento: Read more
A lot of middle eastern-inspired brunch items like eggs with haloumi cheese. Portion is generous. Staff is friendly but slow. Reservation is needed for a large group. Overall it's a great place.
Maybe the best meal we had in Singapore, went there twice in 4 days. Their prawns and hummus were great for dinner. Their shakshouka and fried chicken are must orders for brunch.
Serves Contemporary Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. Outdoor table is recommended cause they have big fans everywhere. Closed on Mondays and brunch is available only on weekend.
Fried cauliflower with smoked egg and Israeli salad, hummous and labneh -- fantastic (and gluten-free if you omit the pita). Great vibe and food, slow service.
Food is great, and excellent value for money (even though some may complain about portion size, it wasn't an issue for me). As for the beers, "Fucking Hell" is a great name but a terrible beer.
Lamb shakshouka is absolutely to die for! The scrambled eggs & bacon is a bit disappointing due to the tough bacon. Portion sizes are huge so be prepared of you're thinking of dessert
Nice take on Middle Eastern food. The chicken taouk is great. Love the playlist - they played Warren G Regulate! (nobody seemed to be as excited as me about that)
One of the best, most original and friendliest restaurants in Singapore. The beetroottzatziki is heavenly as are any of the (constantly changing) bacon dishes.
Great atmosphere & delicious food. The hummus is a must order! Don't be shocked when the bill comes though, all the little dishes add up to make quite a pricey meal!
Their daytime food menu is just half a page of large type text - the dinner items are not available. If something out of that does suit you, the food and portions are quite good. Limited seats inside.
Delightful place that serves great food; a perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon :) Love the moorish touch Chef Bjorn breathed into the food. Must tries: everything lamb and canadian maple bacon.
Not to complicated menu make your orders are easy, they even suggest how much you should order. The mezzes are good, but the main course are even better. Go for lamb and prawn!
Opening Hrs: No lunch; it's a dinner place. Tue–Sat: 6:30pm-11pm (last order 9:45pm)- Brunch on Sat & Sun: 11:30am-4pm (last order 2:45pm)- Closed on Mon
Good ambience. The 3 set mezze platter is quite worth it to share. Try the labna, or the walnutdip if you want a sweet starter. They do run out of items if you come too late.
Have been here three times. First two times fried chicken and slow cooked lamb were excellent. Third time the food was so-so and vibe was that they were too cool for customers. Need reservations.
