The Hainan chicken rice is a decent fix when you're missing the real deal in Singapore, but definitely overpriced.

Adequate fix if you're jonesing for standard Singaporean food but a far cry from the real thing. Do yourself a favor and skip the satay (sauce sucks). Chicken rice not bad. Better laksa at Katong.

海南雞飯 is only decent, nothing particular special about it. definitely doesn't deserve to be called 海南少爺
