Despite the bad service reviews still came with a group - might have been the local friends, but can't complain about the service! My beer was always being topped up, food was great! Atmosphere a plus
Crabtempura was amazingly crunchy, steamboat was a hit, kamheong prawns, cant get enough! Service- depends on which waitress you get, we got a sourpuss initially, then another took over. Yippee!
Mui Chow Kow Yuk🐽,👍👍🏻Hakka Mee, MarmiteRibs, Salt chicken, Beef Brisketstew, Cod.. All yummy. Steamboat available too. Cool outdoor dining with view of the sky🌌🍻
Abascus, Hakka Noodles (must dip with chilli sauce) & Fried Minced Pork with Salted Fish are the recommended dishes to order here. Weird taste to their Fried Kangkung. -Penang Kia Food Critique-
They're good for the pork knuckle and hakka noodles. It's a good place for chinese dishes. Only setback is it's in the heart of the city and getting there means braving crazy traffic
Excellent food, friendly staff, informal and magical atmosphere. Try: stuffed crab, Hakka noodles, pork belly+buns & "tofu". Important: watch out for bag snatchers on the road outside the restaurant!
Steamboat was delicious. Keep in mind, however, that the bill might not be as low as expected, as ladies refilling and actively selling beer is part of their concept.
delicious food but TAKES YEARS TO SERVE THE FOOD. if you have lots of time you can eat here. if you are in the rush FIND ANOTHER RESTAURANT! bad experience here tsktsktsk
Busy Sunday with lotsa ppl but the service still good. Friendly. Food wise, I'm still prefer Hakka Mee originally from Sban. Mui choy kau yuk not bad. Shuen pun chi is no no no...
Why do they even get 6.8 rating?!?! Unprofessional and unfriendly service like we don't belong here. Customer parking fee RM4, outsider RM8. Dessert was good but didn't justify the horrible service
This is NOT the place to try Hakka (in fact, any Chinese) cuisines. Crabs were skinny, smelled & tasted weird, & not fresh from staying in the water tank for far too long. Other dishes were sub par.
