Park on the Trinity side of Carter Finley and go in the back entrance to the fair near the horse barns. The lines are shorter there and it's close to the fireworks which you can watch from the car.Upvote13Downvote

Chris JonesOctober 19, 2010If you enter at gate 8, make sure you leave by 9:30 or you can't exit at gate 8 until fireworks end. They began late last night so we waited almost an hour. You can still exit via gate 9.UpvoteDownvote
