- Small airport makes it very easy to get in/out. Nice alternative from the NYC choices.
- Love that a work counter with outlets was added! Better than hunting for the two or three seats near wall outlets before...
- Teresa DApril 15, 2014I've never seen so many bratty and out-of-control kids in one place before. And I've been to tons of Disney parks!
- Great airport to get in/out of for travel north of the city. Car rental lot north of the terminal building but easy to get in/out. Friendly TSA. Used my AmEx at the food area inside security
- Charles TabangcoraSeptember 1, 2011A easy airport to fly into and out. But it gets packed in the boarding area, baggage claim and rental car lot. Be prepared for the wait as the attendant manually signs you out of the rental lot.
- Close to Connecticut with an array of flights to popular locations. But it’s really the airport of misfit toys. The terminal is too small. This is the airport where dreams go to die.
- Patricia NRLDecember 20, 2013Small and cozy. People who works here are kind, calm and helpful. Safe,Simple but (-_-) The Best I have been at the US (-_-)!
- John D'AgostinoDecember 1, 2020Greater by the National Guard at the airport. We had to put our health paperwork on our chests as we walked by the guards to prove that we complied with New York restrictions!
- Fly in/out of here ANY time you can. Great alternative to LAX-JFK red-eye is last flight via ORD, where you can get Dunkin coffee, and here by 9:30am. Safe Trip, gang.
- This is a teeny tiny airport, which is good and bad. It's soooo easy to get thru so no real need to get here early. But the food amenities are somewhat sparse. You take the good with the bad.
- Deatrice JonesSeptember 3, 2014Quiet and not too busy!! Hertz car rental was quick and easy because we reserved 24 hours on advance. Great!!!
- Marie CrouchMay 28, 2012Park at the La Quinta for $10/day and their shuttle will bring you over to the airport. Call first for reservation. The shuttle ride is less than 10mins!
- Andrew BzowyckyjDecember 22, 2012Super convenient airport! The rental car counter is right next to the baggage claim so go get your car while you watch for your baggage at the same time
- Great little airport. Painful when there are inevitable delays but I'm here almost weekly and quite content.
- MargoJune 6, 2014The wifi here is reliable and a simple connection process, strong enough to stream Netflix
- Jet blue even more speed let's you cut the security line. Glass door under the escalator.
- Gabriella BattistiolNovember 12, 2012Much better than JFK or any of those other big airports. Here its five minutes to check in, get your ticket, and drop off your bags.
- Kaycee DavisJanuary 26, 2013I got cash before going thru security because of all the cash only comments for food at the snack bar. Well it ends up that they take credit card now!
- Ania MariaJune 6, 2013Best airport ever. There's only 6? Gates one terminal bag check in and security take 5 minutes. Awesome!
- Small place. Convenient, fast. Not many seats so prepare to stand while waiting to board.
- Andrew HebertAugust 2, 2012Oh my, this airport is in the dark ages. It's Thursday afternoon, TSA has one line running, the line is an hour long, and the only eatery on the air side doesn't accept credit cards.
- Good luck finding a seat in the gate area...hate flying out of this airport...easy coming in though
- Sexy LFMarch 22, 2015Incredibly easy to fly and and out of, but I only saw one Dunkin Donuts in terms of food options and your plane will likely be small.
- CourtneyDecember 30, 2014Pretend you're de-planing airforce one. Wave at the baggage handlers from the top of the stairs.
- Jet Blue still sitting on runway for 40 minutes now. They are blaming it on traffic coming from Laguardia airport . Really!!! But we are in White Plains can someone explain it to me please.
- 🍚December 31, 2014Free wifi. They have a water fountain especially for filling up a nalgene/reusable bottle
- Kevin SambdmanJuly 27, 2011If you forget to bring food, try the bar/restaurant upstairs. If you have the time, it's way better than the pre-made sandwiches by the gate.
- Easily the best airport in the tristate area. What it lacks in luxury it makes up for with speed and efficiency!
- John D'AgostinoNovember 15, 2021Small convenient airport outside of NY congestion. But personnel use the loudspeaker excessively to the point of being a nescience. Can’t understand a word they’re saying.
- Ryan MacNamaraSeptember 28, 2013Aside from all the New Yorkers this is a very pleasant little airport.
- John D'AgostinoJuly 25, 2023Not a very good experience. The demand is high for access to flights but the county continues to avoid expansion of the airport size to accommodate demand. Leaving people like sardines in a small can.
- Allen FosterJuly 26, 2013New restrooms up one flight from the main level are SO much nicer than the old ones, before security.
- Suzanne AdnamsApril 6, 2012Restaurant, bar & coffee shop on 2nd floor. Snacks, donut shop on main. Not much past security so get food/drinks before going thru to gate.
- Amber BarkleyJuly 19, 2012You can use any kiosk to check in for any airline...Beware: TSA with a big 'tude in the house

- drew tarvinMay 25, 2015The Metro North train to White Plains is easy but getting to the airport from the train station is a pain.
- Always have a backup plan…direct flights are the best. Avoid connections due to delays or cancellations.
- Carrie MorganSeptember 26, 2010Super-easy airport to use as alternative to LGA, JFK, Newark or Bradley. But bring your own food/snacks because HPN is very tiny and has 2 coffee/snack bars and one Piccadilly Pizza kiosk.
- Easy in and out airport. No security line and very small terminal. No great food options though.
- Park on the lower level of the garage. It's the same level as the ticketing counters.
