- The cell phone waiting lot has a flight information screen, you'll have up to the minute information while you wait.
- Michael DaigneaultMarch 14, 2012Taxi's are not waiting outside...you first need to check in at Taxi desk inside the airport - rates for most surrounding communities posted on wall - nice touch.
- If your part of the flight crew, go to the dinner they usually have a really cheap special.
- Once you pass through security the only food option is a little convenance store.

- Faster getting in and out of this airport but I agree tsa not too friendly!
- Remember once you go through security there are only a couple of vending machines and a small deli with premade food.

- Lisa RaeJuly 28, 2012Don't think cause this is a small airport you'll breeze through. It was a "cluster" today. 1 security line in entire airport for all airlines.
- Rental car drivers: there are no gas stations near the airport. Make sure you fill up before you get too close!

- Robert BreretonJune 16, 2011Virtually no long term parking. HPN's flights are usually cheaper than JFK or LGA. Go up a flight to sit. It's usually empty. Go to the gate ONLY when you have to as there is only ONE overcrowded gate
- Easiest airport to get to! About 5 minutes to check in and get through security.
- Doug RiggsApril 11, 2014If you have a rental car and need to fill up, look for a service station 10 miles out. There is nothing close to the airport.
- Long term parking is steep. Park downtown and catch a cab. Or try out Stewart Newburgh airport. Fewer flights but much less hassle and cost.
- There are very large "secret" bathrooms on the second floor before you go through security. The 1st floor bathrooms are nasty.

- Adam SchraderDecember 10, 2013The representative for US Airways was extremely rude and unhelpful. I highly recommend using a different airline. The airport is clean & fast- but I will never come through here again with US Airways.
- Katie NugentAugust 6, 2012Very convenient to get to. Buy books and food before you get in, there is just a "cash only" food counter. Oh, and basically no outlets.
- Don't leave anything on the plane or the cleaning crew will steal it.
- Eric StegemannMay 26, 2011May be the most annoying announcement system in any airport. Gate agents just hit a button on phone every time to make an announcement. Bring ear plugs.
- Park at La Quinta Armonk for $15 a day instead. Or Purchase College has a parking gig too.

- KatJuly 1, 2013Fast, no lines, but small and crowded. Much less hassle than JFK. Don't arrive too early--entire security to gate process takes less than ten minutes.
- Make sure you are there extra early if you fly Jetblue. They tend to leave before scheduled departure time.

- The Cloud Cafe snack bar inside security is cash only... Be prepared!
- Save time at security by leaving your belt on. Mine never sets off the metal detector and they never ask me to take it off.
