Wonik Choi: SUNMYUNG GUEIGA: A bit pricey, but a fantastic place to reinforce your Korean BBQ experience. Don't forget to dip Grilled Black Pork in salted anchovy sauce, which will bring it to a different level.
Wonik Choi: JUNGGAMEORIN: Enjoy Korean BBQ! Grilled Pork Belly, Pork & Rib in Soy Sauce are my 2 favorites. Tidy atmosphere, friendly staff, private dining room and free valet will enhance your experience.
Wonik Choi: NAMSAN CABLE CAR: Comfy way to enjoy a must-visit place in Seoul, N Seoul Tower. Climb up and see the beautiful scenery of Seoul. Try to LOCK your great memory to the railing, "Padlock of Love"!!
Wonik Choi: OGEUNNAE DAKGALBI: I had my hometown YUM, Spicy Stir-fried Chicken, in Seoul and it's listed on the Michelin Guide! If you want to deepen your Korean food experience, shouldn’t miss out on it.
Wonik Choi: DODONG-JIB: Small, but cozy restaurant to have a drink and relax. Try some Bulgogi Green Onion Pancake with Soju or beer. Be there earlier as they always have a line during lunch and dinner.
Wonik Choi: NAMDAEMUN MARKET: Outdoor traditional market where you can buy almost everything. Walk along the market road and enjoy the various street food. One of my favorites is 'HO-TTEOK'(sugar-filled pancake).
Wonik Choi: With no doubt, breakfast is the most important meal and Cafe 395 is the perfect choice for everyone. Elegant and lifestyle buffet focuses on fresh seasonal offerings ready to nourish you.
Wonik Choi: JJOKGALBI JEJAKSO: A real adventurous Korean BBQ in the trendy area, Itaewon. It's located in the alleyway so finding the restaurant is another adventure. Try spicy pork ribs if you like hot food.
Wonik Choi: N SEOUL TOWER: Wanna see how Seoul looks? Gear up with comfy shoes and climb up to check this out. GLAMOROUS NIGHT VIEW from the top is gorgeous. Take the cable car if you don't want to walk:)
Wonik Choi: WAR MEMORIAL MUSEUM: Don't miss this place if you want to see all things related to the Korean war and understand the history of a country remaining the only divided nation in the world.
Wonik Choi: INSA-DONG: Rent a traditional costume, Hanbok, and walk around Insa-dong. Should be FUN! A really good place to experience tons of traditional things about Korea. Also a good place to buy a souvenir!
Wonik Choi: DON-CHI GOURMET: Wanna Chimac(Chicken&Beer)? This place serves various kinds of side items-Chicken, Donkatsu and others + local draft beer, Guinness and soju. Do a light lunch buffet during weekdays!
Wonik Choi: OJI HWARO: Korean BBQ(Samgyeopsal) is the one you have to try! Located in front of Asterium and serves beef, pork with other Korean side dishes. My recommendation would be samgyeopsal with Kimchi!
Wonik Choi: OAK ROOM: Order a drink from the elegant English-style bar overlooking the scenic hotel gardens. HOURS open daily: 6:00pm-2:00am. Happy Hour offers unlimited beer+snack buffet: Weekdays 6:00pm-8:30pm.
Wonik Choi: GUBOK MANDU: Right place to enjoy various Chinese dumplings and my favorite is Xialongbao(小笼包)! As the restaurant is on the Michelin Guide, waiting is unavoidable:)
Wonik Choi: JINPOONGJEONG: Interested in Korean cuisine? They serve the course menu of authentic+fusion food. They serve on the western table - don't worry about sitting on the floor. A reservation is essential.
Wonik Choi: SANCHAE-JIB: Heard of Makgeolli? - Korean traditional alcoholic beverage made of rice. You can try this with various selections of side dishes like Pajeon, Namul, and Bibimbap!
Wonik Choi: KOREA HOUSE: Wonderful place to experience Korean food & culture. Experience programs such as traditional costume, wedding, BBQ, Surasang (royal table) and performance arts. Have fun!
Wonik Choi: LOTTE WORLD TOWER: The fifth-tallest building in the world, 123 floors, provides you the closest place to the sky in Seoul. A really huge shopping mall where you can spend a whole day in one place.
Wonik Choi: JAMSIL BASEBALL STADIUM: Feel the Korean baseball 'cheer culture' which is way hotter than other countries with Samgyeopsal, chicken, pizza, beer in the stadium. Cheers to YUM & FUN!
Wonik Choi: SAMONIM DONGASEU: A small hidden gem where you can enjoy tasty pork cutlet. A place worth the wait. If you want to find the real value of this restaurant, try spicy pork cutlet. Caution: awfully HOT!

Wonik Choi: GWANGJINGYO 8TH AVENUE: One of the three observation platforms in the world installed at the bottom of the bridge where you can enjoy the beauty of Han-river with various performances and exhibitions.
Wonik Choi: OLYMPIC PARK: I love this place so much where I can chill out from my busy life in the big city, Seoul. Take a walk in the 1.421 km² of natural green areas!

Wonik Choi: NAMSANGOL HANOK VILLAGE: Experience tradition of the Choseon Dynasty in the center of Seoul. They offer cultural programs, performances in the traditional music-specialized theater.
Wonik Choi: A huge indoor amusement park where you can go regardless of weather. Better to avoid weekends if you don't want to spend your time in line. Recommend 'Gyro Drop' to attraction lovers.
Wonik Choi: SILOAM SAUNA: Public hot sauna for men and women. There is a separate sauna... after that, you change into shorts and order snacks there. It is close to Seoul Station.
Wonik Choi: HWANG RYONG MANDO: The best fried dumpling ever! I love food that has a rich flavor from the first bite and this dumpling has crispy batter & juicy stuffing which attracts me from the first bite.
Wonik Choi: CHEONGGYE-CHEON STREAM: 11 km long stream restored from a neglected waterway hidden by an overpass where you can stay relaxed in the big city of Seoul.
Wonik Choi: PILDONG MYEONOK: Highly recommended for noodle lovers who want to taste North Korea (Pyongyang naengmyeon) in Seoul. The meat broth can be bland, but you will like it if you find the deep taste of it.
Wonik Choi: TTUKSEOM PARK: Looking for a place to walk, cycle or daytime camp? Want to see what the Han river looks like? This is the right place! Don't forget to drop by the convenience store for some food!
Wonik Choi: BYEOL MADANG LIBRARY: A really huge, creative open library that provides 50,000 books and magazines for free. They offer a variety of monthly cultural events and performances and open till 10 pm.
Wonik Choi: YEONNAM-DONG: I like the young and open-to-everybody atmosphere of this area where you can enjoy beer on the street while watching busking performances. Enjoy Seoul's hippest alleyway!
Wonik Choi: MYUNG-DONG SHOPPING STREET: A place for shopping(clothing, accessories, cosmetics) that's maintained its reputation for a long time. It's just fun to see people from various nationalities passing by.
Wonik Choi: Hop on the cruise and enjoy Seoul for 40~90 mins! From 11:30 to 19:30, they provide the cruise experience with Fireworks, Rainbow, Moonlight, Lunch and Dinner so make a reservation in advance.
Wonik Choi: HWANGKAK-DONG FLEA MARKET: Not a well-arranged shopping area but a very attractive place where you can find various 2nd-hand goods from the 1950s. Prepare yourself to be surprised by the low price:)

Wonik Choi: Celebrate your very special day with Cilantro Deli's cake! My personal favorites are Black Forest, Tart and Carrot Cake. They also sell good quality coffee at a reasonable price.
Wonik Choi: IL PONTE: As far as I've experienced, the best PIZZA in Korea! With no hesitation my personal favorite is rucola pizza! Il Ponte is the true 'Ponte(bridge)' to deliver Italian cuisine to Korea.
Wonik Choi: NANTA THEATER: If you haven't had a chance to watch this non-verbal performance, you should book a ticket ASAP! It's not like Broadway style, but is so much fun and very interactive.
Wonik Choi: GEUMSEONGKWAN NAJU GOMTANG: Care for a light stew? Long-hard boiled stew. Sliced steamed meat and other delicious side dishes. Good combination with soju, makgeolli, and beer.
Wonik Choi: CHOI, SUNG KEUN'S SMALL MUSIC CONCERT: This is the place where you can enjoy various kinds of alcoholic beverages (from beer to vodka) and side dishes. Owner of this bar sings and you can sing along!!
Wonik Choi: KWANGHWAMOON GAEUL: Wish to be in a crowd of dancing people, aged from 40 ~ 50? Here you can drink, eat, enjoy the music and dance while a singer sings! This is not a nightclub but a pub with dancing.
Wonik Choi: ILMI JANGEO: Eel is a stamina food in Korea and this is the spot where you can try the grilled eel with (or without) sauce. Eat a variety of vitamins contained in the eel and feel healthy.
Wonik Choi: MUAN BBEOL NAKJI: Small octopus is a seafood you can enjoy as a stew with soju, makeolli & beer. It looks strange, but the taste won't let you down!!

Wonik Choi: ANALOG GARDEN: Beautiful place for brunch! They have homemade meat menu made of soy for vegan and flavorful milk tea & roasted coffee which will nourish you happily.
Wonik Choi: GWICHEON(歸天): Traditional Korean cafe where they serve teas with complimentary Han-gwa (Korean traditional sweets). The cafe is operated by a relative of Mr. Cheon, Sang Byung (well-known poet).
Wonik Choi: DONGDAEMOON SHOPPING TOWN: Huge and the most well-known shopping complex which has over 40 years history. Go here when you can spend some time comfortably because it's always packed with people.
Wonik Choi: SARANGEUI GOGI: Recommended for beef lovers who want to enjoy high quality meat. Bring your own wine as they do not charge for the corkage.
Wonik Choi: SEOCHON GYEDAN-JIB: Small and always crowded seafood restaurant. A bit pricey but worth it, have to queue up but won't regret it. Enjoy various REALLY fresh seafood directly delivered from the sea.
Wonik Choi: GENJI: Do you like Sushi? Wanna treat yourself for all the hard work like I do sometimes? Leave all the menu choices up to the best Japanese chef in town and enjoy 'Omakase'!
Wonik Choi: Wanna experience the Philly spirit in Seoul? Enjoy the jazz performance orchestrated by Korean musicians. Great drink, food and people. A great jazz bar.
Wonik Choi: GANGGANAE BINDAE-TTEOK: Very casual and very Korean pub where you can relax your day with appetizing Bindae-tteok(Mung Bean Pancake) and other seasonal menus. Drink a toast with Makgeolli.
Wonik Choi: FEDOLUS: A real market-to-table restaurant run by the chef who worked in a 5 star hotel. Perfect place to enjoy fusion-style Korean course menu and the price is very reasonable.
Wonik Choi: DALGAEBI: Fine-dining Korean restaurant where you can have business gathering or family celebration in a private room. Pricey but the ambiance will satisfy you with their neat culinary art.
Wonik Choi: I put the words NEAT & PROPER to their menu, service and ambiance. Peking Duck, Sauteed Prawns with Chile Sauce, Wok Fried Eggplant and Minced Beef with Mala Sauce are my 3 favorites.
Wonik Choi: KONKUK UNIVERSITY STATION: Highly recommend to someone who wants to experience the street of youth. Tons of restaurants, pubs and shops are here. You can also enjoy numerous street foods!
Wonik Choi: GANGNAM STATION: The most trendy and crowded area in Seoul which has a world star Psy's dancing stage as well. Hopping on the Gangnam City Tour Trolley Bus would be your other way to experience Seoul.
Wonik Choi: One of the hottest places in Seoul! If you are looking for a place to chill out in a western-style bar with burgers, beers, craft cocktails and live music, this should be the one.
Wonik Choi: My best taco experience in Seoul with affordable prices! Waiting is unavoidable, but worth the time spent queue'd up. The Chipotle Pork and their homemade lemonade has never disappointed me so far.

Wonik Choi: LOTTE WORLD AQUARIUM: Feel the ocean in an urban area. Say hi to 55,000 different marine life from the Five Oceans. You will like the Beluga whales swimming in the crystal clear water tank!
Wonik Choi: KOREA FURNITURE MUSEUM: Recommended for those who want to see simple but beautiful Korean furniture. They only provide guided tours(Korean/English) that need advance reservation. Closed every Sunday.
Wonik Choi: BUKHAN MT. NAT'L PARK: Mt. Bukhan is a real beautiful mountain with unique beauty every season. Explore the mountains of Korea with tons of climbers and visit the yummy restaurants on the way down.
