- Lori LuoAugust 18, 2014You'll find creative takes on the traditional ramen varieties, such as the Dancing Spicy Ramen, with fried calamari, chashu, soft-boiled egg, and fried garlic. Cash only.
- BonJanuary 18, 2013Opened a mo. ago. tan tan ramen is the signature noodle. Tried that, natch. Choose your own noodle (wavy for me). Great rich broth & noodle bite. Onsen egg was good though could've been warmer.
- Datrianna MeeksDecember 18, 2017Great Ramen spot without all the frills and fancy of some of the well-known places in the city. The gyoza is a must try.
- Kari WedgeDecember 11, 2012This place is SO-OO good! The gyoza is phenomenal and the shoyu ramen is delicious... so was the kimchi fried rice! Ah simply delicious! If you have time to stop and check it out definitely do so!
- Awesome neighborhood spot that really stepped up their game since opening. Tan Tan 6 is my go-to. It's a bit spicy with tender bamboo shoots and a nicely done soft boiled egg.
- Jin ChenMay 7, 2013Great ramen, but don't waste your money on the pork bun. $7 for 2 buns with a quarter sized pulled pork. Plenty of other places in East Village for the perfectly prepared pork belly in a soft bun.
- Solid ramen shop. Great lunch specials. Go with thin noodles. Super cute and friendy waitress. One thing I would change would make the pork slices bigger or give me two instead of one.
- Kira FisherMarch 24, 2013Great lunch specials. I've had shio, shoyu and tonkotsu and they are all excellent. Gyoza is fresh and NOT frozen-- extremely tasty!
- Tara DeVincenzoJanuary 18, 2016dancing spicy ramen- perfect classic ramen with bonus spicy calamari. no brainer.
- Amy HoNovember 22, 2015$9.50 lunch specials during weekends. Includes salad, ramen, and app. Nuff said. Ramen was 7/10, not steamy and hot as hoped for.
- Natalie YuenMay 28, 2013Skip the buns, but get the meat gyozas- better ones I've had! And the seafood chanpon broth is rich but light. Get it!
- Kira GowanJanuary 28, 2014Maybe a bit oily for my taste but the lunch special is a great deal and the tan tan 6 was very tasty.
- Tommy DangerJanuary 19, 2013Got the Dancing Spicy Ramen, not that spicy but pretty solid. If you want something a little different and complex, this is it.
- Cynthia LinSeptember 17, 2016Decor upgraded since the last time I came here nearly 7 years ago. Noodles just as good!
- Rahat AhmedJanuary 19, 2013Though not Japanese, the kimchi fried rice is surprisingly delicious and works well as a ramen companion.
- Shane VitriolSeptember 8, 2014All noodles are wheat-based. There's no rice or other gluten-free option.
- Phu NguyenAugust 16, 2014Ramen is good! Watch out, the curry rice doesn't come with an eggs even though the menu says so.
- Nicole GlickmanSeptember 20, 2014Ramen was decent but the service was awful. It took almost an hour for me to get my meal. Also, it's cash only. Probably won't come back.
- Ha DiemSeptember 26, 2014Beware, it's cash only here. I didn't know until I saw the tiny sign in the back of the restaurant. Ramen was okay. Service was slow.
