A nice free attraction in NY, with very mature exhibitions. The theme is treated in different levels, so you can find the "obvious" gay themes as well as some surprising stuff. Recommended.

Fun facts: Anish Kapoor, Keegan-Michael Key, and Frank Ocean own condos in Jenga Tower. Also, the CFO of Bed Bath & Beyond jumped to his death from it (18th Fl) so dont bother, its been done.

For a free cruise to see the Statue of Liberty and unique views of the New-York City skyline, hop on the Staten Island ferry. Even better if you time it to go at dusk.
Need reservations for the roof garden but worth it on a nice day. The egg and prosciutto sandwich place hidden in the middle of the store is a secret gem though, for takeout.
One of my top five restaurants in the city. Lamb and octopus are excellent, as is the Greek salad. Nice to go at an off time like Saturday afternoon so you don’t have to fight for space.
The sour cream apple walnut pie is one of the best apple pies I've had. The apples are sliced thin so the pie is akin to a French tartine than the traditional apple pie.
Decent Spanish food with a fun atmosphere. Go there for a date, if you are going for the food Mercado Little Spain or Ernesto’s are better. Pil pil cod is outstanding! Lovely decorations!
Great spot for dim-sum. Recently renovated, big and bright dining room with traditional cart service. Huge variety, including delicious dessert dim sum (try the walnut!)
Old favorite! Best deli in NYC! The jaw breaking pastrami sandwich and matzo ball soup always hit the spot. I have to stop by here every time I’m in The city! 😘😋
A great breakfast cafe. They serve a modern twist on Jewish deli classics. They will not seat you until your entire party is there. The bar is a great place to sit.
