Rachel Starks: My favorite parts are always the cats and the primates. The zoo has an awesome area for the polar bears & wolves in the back of the zoo in new enclosures.
Natalie: With 80 acres there is a lot to see. With the construction of bear mountain it became the first zoo in the country to use naturalistic enclosures. Check out the list of babies currently available too!

michelle sink: Something for everyone. Very kid and family friendly. Weekdays are best for avoiding crowds. But bring a lunch since most food courts are closed. Love the kids petting zoo.

Ben Spedoske: I grew up with this zoo & it's still my favorite. Great staff, great exhibits. Check out the Arctic Ring of Life & the Australian Outback. Excited for the new penguinarium!
Jorge R.: Beautiful displays, aviary, very large, bring comfortable shoes and water bottle, 4-5 hours to see everything, rent peddle powered carriages to zip through, or pay for a/c monorail to get around.
Ondine Bult: The bird shows are great. Food is reasonably priced. The dingo and chimp looked a little stressed. Zach on the African safari tour was the highlight. He needs his own radio show!

Lizzie Hatfield: Check out the world famous pandas, Asian elephants, Andean bears, and sea lions! All for free! Avoid during school holidays and weekends if you can.
Christopher Jimenez: Beautiful zoo. Not the most comprehensive display of animals, but top notch local section complete with bayou food and the white alligator. Water play area looks awesome, but also costs extra.

Denise Judy: This zoo is in the most beautiful setting of any I've ever been in. And, there are so many opportunities for guests to interact with the animals, which was really special. I loved it!
Claire Elizabeth: Try feeding the giraffes! For just a couple dollars you can get some lettuce and they will curl their tongue around it and take it from your hand. It is very unique and fun to do.
John Olinger: Incredible place to visit. Free, but donations are what keep it running. Volunteers are always informative and helpful. Beautiful gardens and fun animal exhibits.

Emily Turgeon: The animals were very active! I love that they have all the classics plus a lot of species you're not used to finding in a zoo. The indoor part is very extensive which is great for rainy days!
Juni Xu: I've been to a lot of zoos and this one noticeably is home to the cutest animals--most of all the tas devils, prairie dogs (v. small and fluffy), and koala that latches onto a teddy bear in its sleep.
