if you like IPAs this is your spot. a couple other lagers and pale ales—plus some delicious spiked seltzer.
the catalina bloody mary is a meal alone. all kinds of good stuff in there—add bacon! donuts are made in-house and are A+. didn’t try the waffles but have gluten free option! will go back.
staff is super nice—the rooms are fairly small but typical of nyc. nice to have the wheel tapper bar downstairs. decent coffee/lunch spots near and parking garages too—definitely use spothero.
pleasant dinner and good drinks. staff is friendly and attentive. they have a really solid gluten free penne if you can’t eat gluten. only thing i’d change is to dim the lights so it’s more cozy.
we had some street tacos, queso, birria fries, ceviche and cocktails—all were fantastic. nice relaxed vibe and the staff was super nice. can get noisy so don’t go if you seek a place to read a book.
went friday afternoon. airy cafe vibe. waiter seemed nervous but was helpful. food&drink is high quality, but expensive (the wine machine’s a cool concept, but come on—$4 for 1oz?). worth going once.
service was great—food was good albeit a tad overpriced. outdoor views are A+. indoor bar looks like it could be cozy in the off season months.
this place is amazing. staff is super friendly and place is clean. highly recommend.
great atmosphere—waterside drinks=perfect. o’s on the bar tvs. food is decent—but avoid ordering shrimp if you’re hungry—portions can be unpredictable. weirdly stingy on some dishes and not on others.
great spot to grab a coffee before taking a walk at the park next door. they’ve also got a freezer with ice cream and frozen dinners by the counter.
as quasi-nyc sushi snobs we’ve had a hankering for quality sushi. this did not disappoint. used doordash, picked up at the drive through, drove to the water and ate. (kirin roll + yellowtail scallion)
