- Dianna H.May 6, 2013You really can't go wrong with anything on this menu. The antipasto & cheese board are delicious starters. Short ribs, scallops, skirt steak & duck are all AMAZING entrees, too. Love this place :)
- KaydeeAugust 11, 2012Get the bold fashioned to drink and for dinner have roasted garlic, beet carpaccio with goat cheese, asparagus, scallops and duck. Everything is shareable and excellent! Front room has better ambiance
- amNewYorkOctober 12, 2011Every Tuesday at this Prospect Heights tapas lounge, its bottles of wine are half off. That means you can get an $80 bottle of Syrah for $40 and pair it with grilled lamb chops and tomato chutney.
- CompassAugust 12, 2013Tuck into burgers, wine flights, and tapas grouped by origin (land, sea, air) and presented in a cozy lodge setting.
- Burger is always good. The only place that does cook the burger correctly. If you're feelin Tapa-y, get the Chicken Roulade. Always amazing.
- CrowdscoreOctober 1, 2011Not your traditional tapas, Beast serves up an eclectic mix from the world over. Make sure to get the risotto, it's creamy and delicious.
- Philip MNovember 12, 2012Happy math: rock shrimp over polenta + St Germain fizz to wash it down = yum.
- Varun ShettyApril 4, 2014Rumor has it that you get a free draught beer with a burger on Thursday nights.
- Tina G.October 1, 2011Everything was amazing! Loved the fingerling salad, mushroom fatoosh, scallops, and the DIY s'mores!
- Adam WishneuskyNovember 29, 2012Pricey but very good. I'd say it's worth it. Nice, quiet atmosphere.
- Peter ParkerJuly 26, 2012I might be more likely to tangle with The Rhino, but this is a much more delicious beast to catch in your web!
- Downtown Magazine NYCApril 8, 2011The chicken with fig pesto is to die for!! They also have a great happy hour until 8 pm during the week
- Momo FurudateAugust 24, 2010You can still count on a good brunch (the scallops or chorizo are faves) and good coffee, but they *used to* have killer Bloody Maries and now they're a joke. Every week they get weaker :(
- The dinner tapas is awesome. Especially the braised short ribs and the scallops.
- Nina MApril 4, 2010Yummy brunch. Burgers and their homemade ketchup-y type sauce not so great. Other menu items are pretty good and staff is cool. Birdwatching always good for the lesbian ladies.
- ChelsaApril 21, 2009Brunch? standard = yummy & a totally solid brunch item. sauteed polenta = delicious & perfect if you want a little something different (don't be afraid to order a side of bacon)!
- The fried manchego cheese bites remain the most creative, delicious thing on the menu after many years.
- Don MJuly 16, 2010Food, ok. priced and portions of manhattan standards in brooklyn. Chairs held together with tap. They had the nurve to say our tip was to small before even getting the tip... Keep the change + tip no?
- Seriously, the toffee pudding (cake) is outta sight. We often skip dessert elsewhere to come to Beast for the pudding. Also, the rest of the menu is outstanding.
- Elizabeth WeinbergMarch 28, 2010The steak and eggs (brunch menu) are INCREDIBLE. Worth the extra couple of dollars. Also the iced coffee is nice and strong.
- michael nerenburgMay 6, 2013Shockingly good, not expensive. They should charge more and if this place ever gets too crowded I would do that because the crowd in prospect heights probably can't afford it and I don't like waiting
- Can't beat brunch at Beast. The chorizo hash is something special
- BrooklynMuseumDecember 11, 2009Staff Pick! Richard (Membership): Simple freshly prepared food. The scallops are particularly good, and nice brunch on weekends.
- James StolzAugust 31, 2013Don't go here. It's overpriced and the food is bland. The beer selection is weak. There is no sangria and I'm never going to bother spending a lot on a bottle of wine in a restaurant this bad.
- M MApril 15, 2012Food is good but a little overpriced. Staff is very nice but we waited over 45 min to get our brunch order. OK if you're not in a hurry or s
- waisum tJanuary 20, 20101/2 price bottles of wine every Tuesday. Beast Antipasto is big rip off for $21 dollars. Only one meat and cheese. Everything else is marinated vegetables from a jar.
- Nate FolkertSeptember 21, 2009The toffee pudding (which is a actually a cake) has been well received by all my friends.
