- The beer is excellent. Highly recommend getting anything with meat and slathering any of the four amazing BBQ sauces all over it. Sweet potato fries are also super tasty! You can't go wrong here.
- Miss this place so much since I moved. Carolina Pulled Pork, cheddar grits, their pulled pork nachos best I've ever had! Their purple sauce is the bomb and their carnivore burger is best ever!
- Justin LockeApril 8, 2015Flights for $4.77 on happy hour for 7 beers. Just go. Get the Mac and Cheese. Great atmosphere and staff is awesome!
- Michelle McClintockAugust 6, 2019Craft beer + House Smoked BBQ - can't go wrong with pork sliders and buttermilk biscuits with an Oak-Aged "Hands Off My Goat!" Oatmeal Stout. After dinner head downstairs to their speakeasy lounge!!
- Greg DennerleinJanuary 9, 2022I’ve had bbq in many cities, (KC, Houston, Denver etc) and I have to say Blue Tractor was just as good as those cattle town bbq! I honestly didn’t expect to find good bbq in Ann Arbor!
- MichelleJuly 20, 2015I've been to this place a few times. I'm in disbelief that my food can actually taste that dissatisfying. So I've gotten beef brisket and the steak salad. Dry, easily cold. Go for the Mac and cheese
- The Carnivore Burger is a MUST have! if you enjoy a quality hamburger that has pulled pork, bacon, and also fried jalepenos on it!! All these quality ingredients create an amazing hamburger!
- Pulled Pork Nachos are an amazing appetizer to get! Don't pass this one up if you are a fan of big ol plates of tasty nachos!
- Yuni GrahamMay 30, 2017Really large portions. We left here so uncomfortably full. Definitely a fan of the three meat burger. (I can't remember the exact name). Would go back!
- Chung-yee NgoOctober 17, 2014The Mac and cheese was pretty bland. The El Camino was pretty tasty loved the salsa verde and the half priced (happy hour) beer sample was worth the money.
- Tanushree ShirodkarSeptember 21, 2015Sliders and barbecue combo plate will give you everything on the menu.. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was super good.
- MatthewJune 15, 2012The food is epiphanaic, but the service can be slow on packed nights. If you don't die of old age waiting, or of a heart attack eating the Carnivore Burger, you will definitely want to come back!!
- Dan NelsonJuly 29, 2018Pickle chips are awesome, and pulled pork with their different sauces are delicious. Definitely recommend.
- Jackie RomzekJanuary 12, 2013The Bumper Crop IPA is delicious! If you come on your birthday you get a free pint glass and a $10 towards your next meal.
- Jake SmithSeptember 15, 2012If the Strawberries and Cream beer is available, try it. Also, the purple is the way to go for BBQ sauces.
- Lida HasbrouckSeptember 17, 2012The meat is local! And the pickle slices that come with burgers are definitely small-batch made. Awesome food!
- Thomas DuebnerMay 28, 2016Barbecue was awesome. The sauce with the purple cap is smokey, sweet, and delicious.
- Cecily Giuseppa CammarataJune 14, 2012Satchels BBQ is way better, everything is homemade from scratch In-House, and all the meats are smoked out on the smokers!
- Edward VielmettiMarch 28, 2014Friendly service, good food, but slow enough that not everyone was fed by 12:30pm. Somewhat noisy. A good experiment, and good if you had 4 or 6, but not a lunchtime 8.
- Liz ParkerJune 23, 2014Try the pulled pork sandwich with the sweet BBQ sauce, yum. And sweet pickles! 2/$15 this week during A2 Restaurant Week, for lunch.
- If you're hungry, try the BBQ Plate for a taste of everything.
- Ryan PolingDecember 30, 2012I just can't come here without getting a slider basket. The sliders are too good and the fries are amazing.
- Heather MittensJanuary 27, 2013I love the bar-bae-cuban sandwich and the pickles on the side are the best!
- Ross Gourmet ClubNovember 22, 2011If you want BBQ and can't try to Detroit, this is a nice alternative. BBQ combo plate gives you a nice sampling.
- K EdmondsDecember 11, 2011Try fried green tomatoes as an app with ranch for dipping Very authentic like my aunt used to make!
- Omid FarivarMarch 30, 2011Pulled Pork Mac n Cheese. Buffalo Chicken Mac n Cheese. Order one of these and be happy forever and ever.
- Val GriffithMay 26, 2013Great place but the bar tender seriously needs to be more personable. Not that impressed with him.
- Joan HuangOctober 27, 2013Pretty glorious brisket but the table sauces don't have much heat - ask for hot sauce.
- John TurnerSeptember 24, 2011The Bbq pulled pork MAC and cheese can be used, in a pinch, as a reason to live.
- Emily HeadingsFebruary 19, 2012Wow. Wish we lived closer to this place... You will not be disappointed.
- Josh AJanuary 30, 2016Didn't try the meat but no self-respecting Texan would. The beer was solid though.
