- The Dora 3D theater is so cute. Go see that. The whole family will enjoy.
- IvyAugust 30, 2013They close @ 5 on week days so plan accordingly... I paid for a FULL FUN DAY & ended up with disappointed kids who wanna come back!
- KibooAugust 5, 2011Bronx Zoo is open all day Wednesday for only a suggested donation. Give what you can, or go in for free!
- Devoni MSeptember 25, 2010The Bronx Zoo is great. You really need a full day to see the entire zoo. Arrive when gates open and leave at closing time.
- Andrew TIngleySeptember 27, 2011I've seen more wildlife in my backyard. We came on a Tuesday and the animals were hiding. Prob best to go on weekends
- Sean NickApril 16, 2013Don't try to see everything. If there's a certain animal you'd like to see check first.
- Spend some time at the Sea Lions exhibit. But be careful - you can easily lose track of time and spend hours there!
- MC Photo & TravelNovember 10, 2013Off season is nice but some exhibits are being refurbished. No crowds, though!
- Pamela SchmidtApril 29, 2015The admission price is getting very expensive. I don't like that they charge extra for all the different activities. I have already paid a small fortune to get in.
- Lori PMay 8, 2010Take the express bus from Manhattan...much better than the subway. Also, go on a weekday in the Spring if you can. You'll avoid the crowds.
- Check out Wildlife Theater at the Wild Asia Plaza (by the monorail) during the summer. Fun plays and puppet shows!!
- Oksana UltravioletAugust 19, 2015Wednesday is a free day, but too crowded. All animals are too far to be seen. Waste of money if you go during other days.
- Aryan JJune 21, 2010Skip the Total Experience pass and ask for General Admission at the ticket booth (they do not advertise this). You will save by paying for the Congo and Asian monorail separately (only two worth it).
- Lamont DavisNovember 6, 2011Always a fun spot to go with the kids...whole park should be free though!
- I rode Rosie the camel at the camel rides near the Asia Gate. It was awesome.
- Rob KelleyNovember 15, 2009To see the most, either start at the upper right entrance near Zoo Center / Astor Court or hustle up there first. Meander down to south entrance.
- Greg NeufeldMay 11, 2012Stop banging on the glass and screaming. You're Not only pissing of the animals.
- PemaJuly 22, 2013Do NOT go on Wednesdays. It's "free", but there are hoards upon hoards of people and little children.
