    A Nice place to visit at night. You can also have a drink on the 230th 5th avenue roof top to have a great view on this building!

    Go straight to the door, tell them you would like to purchase "express" and need to pick up tickets on the 2nd floor- they will escort you to the ticket window, it's $20 more, but you will havenoline

    If you're in the Empire State Building, make sure to stop down to the Lower Lobby level and ask for a tour of The King's College, a conservative Christian school right in the ESB!

    The staff are a little hostile, much friendlier at Top of the Rock but this is a must do if it's your first visit to NYC.

    Beautiful views from the observation deck. Try and plan to go around sunset. Expect about a 45 minute wait on most days.

    After the first elevator takes you to the 80th floor you can do the remaining 6 floors by foot in the staircase. Its a 5 min walk if that, and totally worth not waiting for the second elevator.

    Got to be done if you go to NYC. Get there early in morning 8am! Or before (opens at 8am) take the audio it's quite I interesting. Souvenir shop expensive, take a look in other souvenir shops b4!

    At night, the top 30 floors are illuminated with colored lights that change colors with the seasons and special events. Red, white, and blue colors are used for the 4th of July, red and green are used

    Get your advance tickets from the ESB itself. Anyone else (notably: viator) sells a "voucher", so you still have to wait in the ticket line, thereby negating all the benefits of buying early online.
