    The building was recently restored to its beautiful original state. Tip: Check the calendar as celebrities often pass through to "light" the lights on top of the building.

    It doesn’t deserve the high price tickets! We went for the highest point you can reach it was similar to the lower one with less price and open aria

    Get express tickets. No queues for security or the Lifts....ushered straight to the top! Worth very penny!

    Try to get here when the weather is good. And definitely buy tickets for the 102nd floor observation deck. The view is breath-taking!

    In 2006, stuntman Jeb Corliss attempted to jump from the Empire State Building with a parachute. The building brought a lawsuit against him. He counter-sued and they settled for an undisclosed amount.

    If you get a pass, use the ends. Make sure that the white part is facing you, and insert the pass SLOWLY.

    Really - just head over to Top of the Rock instead. Fewer people, lower price, better and unobstructed views.

    Magnificent view..BUT don't do a regular ticket. Rather go with the express. Queues are a PAIN.

    Go there at night! At midnight you can get out through without queuing. Closes at 1.15 am. Great view!!

    Visiting 86th floor is enough but if you want to shoot more decent pics,you should purchase 102th floor tickets.

    Definitely upgrade to the EXPRESS pass. It is $25, but the lines to the observation deck are ridiculous. Passes are totally worth it!!!

    102 floor is overrated. Go there to watch the sunset so you can see the timelapse of New York yourself.

    The lines are unbelievable if you want to do anything in there. Almost not worth the price to do anything. Nice experience if there wasn’t lines.

    Don't pay the extra $15 for the 102nd floor. The view really isn't that much different up 16 more floors. It's indoors and has glass 360 degrees so it's good if it's raining or snowing I guess.
