- Nadia VolNovember 18, 2015Very quick interchange of flights. With access to hot dogs in the meantime
- Paul LindsellJuly 14, 2011Don't rush, take a seat. The transit takes for ever, as does the bus journey or the walk. It's a big and very spread out airport.
- Melvin KaabweOctober 15, 2014Efficiency at its best. Must take a train to regional terminal for @airfrance flights
- Jonat B.October 15, 2022Old scanners are still in use. liquid must be discarded. Electrical devices are separated. Long waiting times at the security check. Inside. A bottle of water costs 4.30 euros 🤔
- Natalie UnterstellMay 30, 2013Be prepared for the pitbulls that will "receive" you at the passport check point. They really mean all non-EU citizens are shit!
- Free wifi provided by Telekom actually works after you have registered ...
- Gina RouseMay 11, 2015Frankfurt airport is the worst airport I have ever visited! It's an absolute maize to get around and very unorganized! They leave no time for connecting flights.
- Lufthansa has free coffe and tea machines next to the tables of some gates
- Large airport, prepare to walk a lot! C gates have no restaurants, just a couple of bars with minimal food.
- Security Check area is always a challenge. But nice staff today!
- Terminal 1 has all the shops and cafes, don't expect the same at Terminal 2 :)
- Kyunghan KimMay 18, 2013When you're in need of fresh air, go gate 42. But looking for free Wi-Fi, forget about it, darn.
- Lena LMay 3, 2011Sandwich with Parma is better when slightly toasted. And have a glass of Bordeaux with it before your flight!
- Milena LoureiroJuly 26, 2015Very large airport. Need to improve the signs and the maps. I felt kind lost...
- Çağrı Mert BakırcıJuly 15, 2013There are nice seats where you can lay and sleep pretty comfortably. Good job. :)
- Carrie MezvinskyMay 6, 2013Plan on walking a lot if you arrive from the States and are continuing on elsewhere, the terminals are faaaar apart.
- Sandra PalmOctober 22, 2014Took me an hour to go to my transfer gate. Be prepared for a lot of walking, security control all over again. If you are in a hurry, the staff will not help you. Just wear sneakers and run!
- Using passbook on iDevices IS really à Time saver. Thanks Lufthansa for following techno trends.
- Rod JacksonFebruary 24, 2015Security screen is EXTREMELY SLOW for no real reason it seems, both of my back packs got searched, item by item. I swear the lady acted like she had never seen a Bluetooth speaker or an eyeglass case
- Unless you have Premier access, arrive 3 hrs before your flight!!If you are looking for German efficiency, this is NOT the place. Their security makes the TSA look like a well oiled machine.
- If you have to go to zone C in Terminal 1, do it as late as possible. There is almost no cafe behind security check.
- Bradley FloryFebruary 18, 2014Smoking area in terminal 2 baggage halls right at back they have glass smoking sheds
- Carmine GalloMay 19, 2011Traveling for a presentation? Drop in to Kafer's for beer and schnitzel while you rehearse your notes. Most presenters fail to practice. More tips at www.carminegallo.com
- Jim BeanOctober 27, 2016There aren't enough gates at this airport. Most often you have to take a bus from the plane on the tarmac.
- You can take a car2go directly at the airport parking lot.
- Paulo OliveiraApril 1, 2013Roaming internet providers avaiable. I'm using my PT Wifi (Portuguese internet provider)
- A. WrightSeptember 5, 2014When traveling through here buy liquids AFTER you go through security, which is before you get to your gate (unlike the US). Lines are virtually non-existent, airport is clean and employees friendly.
- SopitasApril 25, 2018If you are in Terminal B, try to eat before security check. The options on the boarding gates are very limited
- Trey to become a HON @Lufthansa : you get a really excellent service !
- FuzzyAugust 2, 2013Musollah @ terminal 1 near luftansa bussiness class lounge . Opposite imPressEd shop
- Surendran BalachandranMarch 25, 2013Layovers : If you have a layover, consider going to terminal B for plane watching. Terminal Z is not good enough to spend more than an hour or so.
- Nataly LyashevaJuly 3, 2013Great playground in the departures section of Terminal 2, on the food court
