Strong is the coffee here my friends... stronger than just about anywhere in Italy or Austria... but that's Segafredo coffee. You know that goin' in, right?
Ha. What fan I say about the Schwedenplatz? The best thing it's got going for it is the ice cream spot there... perhaps the best in Vienna and the owner... she makes serious cheddar my friends.
Monday-Friday they offer two lunch specials each day at only 6 euros. This includes a soup. On Wednesday they offer something a little fancier than usual. You cannot beat that price though, anywhere.
Bloody Mary is nice... the burgers are good. Good is good... so get the burger and relax and enjoy yourself. Think of how nice it is to be there and not have to worry about all the BS in the world.
The great "soup" wontons... plus everything else. A very authentic and delicious experience is what you will find here.
Get the twenty five wing platter. Gotta get... "garlic garlic garlic", "crazy daisy asian bbq", "the slayer", and double up on "ginger". Get those five flavors for the wing (not boneless) platter.
They make the best fried chicken of all the grocery stores around... get the breaded hot wings.
Iced... just get it iced my friend. On average, their coffee is a bit too bitter but latés aren't bad in comparison.
Reindeer pizza. Yes. Reindeer. It's got pomegranate on it as a topping too. This was quite different for me but quite tasty too I must say.
Käsekrainer hot dog... a cheese filled sausage. Be careful of that first bite... hot cheese everywhere is a possibility. Most joints will slice the tip of the sausage for you by default.
Wings! This place=even when they're bad, they're good... know what I'm sayin'? Wild Wings is definitely better though.
Excellent tortes and strong coffee, as it should be in Vienna. The beer is cold too, as I wish it would be in most of Vienna.
