Small airport with poor wifi .. If your late and still in the migration don't worry they will call your destination and let you at the beginning of the queue
Don’t take an Uber from here! You’d need to walk to Parking 51 which is really far away! (Near Terminal 2). You are better off with public transport or Taxi from the airport.
I don't like this airport. Long walk from arrivals terminal to departures terminal. Not comfortable.

dinatoskrikosMay 29, 2014Overcrowded and dysfunctional airport with huge queues mainly at the body & hold luggage control. You need to come at least one hour earlier even with nothing to drop off just to be sure. Frustrating.

Parking is a nightmare here. Aim for the short term parking underground and give plenty of time to get through security.

I can not understand the mentality of Geneva Airport Duty Free. Everything is 1,5 time expensive than prices in town.
Not a bad place if you like planes and duty free. Meredith likes the bathrooms too.
Make sure you remortgage before buying some food here.

Arrive on time, security is one of the worst I have seen in Europe. Massive q's and wait time on busy days easily 45-1h. You'll be surprised how unefficient the system is...so not Swiss
Remember to use priority lane for security check if flying in Business or have a frequent flyer tier card

GVA, despite somewhat tired exterior and interior design, has been adapted and upgraded cleverly. More importantly: brilliant array of connections for a mid sized European city. ✈️👍
Cheaper car rentals on the French side of the airport if you can find it
Very efficient airport. A lot if security lanes so not much time in line. Could get a bit of a makeover though
