DIET BE DAMNED!!! Leave your calorie, carb counting in the car. Wonderful, fresh, a hint of Asian spice on every savory plate and desserts created by someone who really truly loves sweets.
This is a very good place! It's affordable, you can sit on the bar and watch the cook's work. Try the Roasted Pork buns and the BBQ (it's a huge dish!). Pork Belly's Benedict is also a must try.
Cool ambiance- def. an urban chic spot. The fish market was really good & you have to try the rib sandwich. Fried rice was also spot on. Affordable prices too. Will have to go back for the nutella bar
EVERYTHING at this place is fantastic. Portions are a bit on the small side. Beef buns and duck buns are fire. Lamb lollipops are quite literally as succulent as lollipops (my faves).
Quick, convenient, & super tasty. Perfect after a full day of shopping or post-drinking munches. My faves: roast pork bun & the corn bread! Don't forget the $1 soft serve cones for dessert. #CPL8
Since Gigi exploded onto Miami's dining scene two years ago, it has continued to serve delicious, inventive Asian-inspired dishes at bargain prices. [Eater 38 Member]
Loved this place's ambiance. Their food tastes fresh and delicious. Tried the roasted pork buns as suggested, they are truly amazing. End with the Gigi Nutella bar, it's a piece of heaven.
Everything about the place is smart, starting with the lofty, industrial, urban-chic décor that bespeaks big city, late night, youth, energy, and fun. Read more
It's hard to find late night spots that are this good. Order up any of the buns (but pork is arguably the best) or a noodle bowl but save room for the Gigi bar with nutella that can't be missed.
Recommend the pork buns, the ribs, crispy dumplings or the spinach salad - all ridiculously good! Little watch-outs: pretty cold inside, not that affordable for big eaters.
Order several dishes for your party and share them out. If you're not sure, ask the waiting staff to help you order; they're really friendly and make great recommendations.
So... I hated the change of menu... But, I must say the mushroom bums are back and better than ever! The coconut shrimp udon is quite fabulous and this OG GIGI fan is back to happy! Beware: seasonal?
Open til 5am, this has become a Design District staple for its killer pork buns and duck fried rice. Wash it all down with a PBR for a perfect end to a night of Baseling.
Magic hat 49 great beer, southern boy BBQ ribs, shitake mushroom and everything we shared is delicious! . It was 4 of us and we shared everything. That's the best way to eat here. Great value too.
Ex Top Chef contestant Jeff McInnis's restaurant is a great late night hangout. Get the noodles, BBQ, the pork buns and the pork belly BLT. [Eater 38 Member] Read more
Don't let the no frills decorum fool you: gigi is leading the charge in Miami's up & coming midtown movement. Affordable and delicious, try the Duck fried rice, any pork bun, wash it down with a PBR.
The sweet potato cheese cake is good! I liked it better than the GiGi bar. I'm not a hardcore chocolate fan. The steak &eggs were good, use the hot sauce!
By the time we got here on Sunday they were out of half of the menu including some of the items I was dying for ( grilled corn ) but we still ordered a bunch and it was all amazing
Delicious, affordable, and opens late! what else could you ask for? oh yes, ask for the pork Gigi Buns, the blue crab plate, the ribs and finish it off w Ovaltine dessert ;-)
bravo geeks: the chef is jeff mcinnis from top chef season 5! order: chicken crispy skin and blt with pork belly! if you get the nutella bar, put the strawberries on top for some magic!
If you are ordering bbq ribs, don't forget to order some salad additionally. Otherwise you will face strong taste of meet with sweet sauce without anything much for a garnish. Cappuccino sucks
Midtown's hippest and affordable dining spot. "If restaurants had IQs, Gigi would be a genius. Everything about the place is smart, starting with the décor and ambiance: urban chic."
