- Jessica CramerAugust 3, 2012I wouldn't reccomend playing the slots at the airport. My mom (who works at a casino) said the airport slots are a whole lot tighter. So just wait til you get to a casino
- Lindsey AllenJune 21, 2017This airport was absurdly over priced (even more so then most airports). It was HOT and the smell of cigarettes and jet fuel made me nauseous. Despised my 2.5 hour layover.
- Kevin LokaisinghFebruary 24, 2014The older area of this airport is OLD, but the newer area is just beautiful. There is a lack of duty free at the gates however. I would have needed to go back to Terminal 3 to get liquor.
- Pick up after yourselves people! Don't leave your garbage on the floor. It doesn't take a lot to walk 10 yards to a trash receptacle.
- Flying united? Get dropped off at the new Terminal 3. Much quicker and easier than terminal 1.
- John JJ WrightMay 17, 2014I arrived rich and I'm leaving broke...thank you Vegas and your damned Blackjack Tables. Just spent my last dollar on the luggage cart.
- PLC Training at BIN95.comMarch 21, 20184 seats left, hurry! Register for #PLC Programming Courses - Las Vegas #mfg #engineer Read more
- Flying out on "B" pier? Thinking of getting something to eat? Stop at one of the other piers before heading over to your gate on "B"... nothing worthwhile having on "B" pier except a lot of junk food.
- Tamsen ReedAugust 10, 2010What to do in Vegas in an hour: play the slots, buy souvenirs like u really played hard in sin city, and vow to keep quiet what u really did in that hour...what happens in vega stays in Vegas
- Bill B.May 17, 2013To the lady who wants to sit down on a TSA stool and eat breakfast with a child in a stroller right by the x-ray machine: that will never work. And don't argue with TSA about it. Moron.
- Mónica HidrovoNovember 11, 2011Get some Ethel M. chocolate before leaving town. Next to Gate C4 Southwest airlines terminal.
- if you're getting chair service arrive early as if you're getting on an international flight. It's a two step process, even if you're fling 1st class.
- In Terminal 2, not too many choices for food - burger king, pizza hut, sandwich stand. BUT, new terminal for us June 26th!
- Rental car situation is nightmarish. Nothing onsite. Shuttles take up to 30 minutes+ and the actual lot is nowhere near the airport. It took just shy of 1 hour to drop off car and get to security.
- Get the upgrade! First Class is the quick security only - no elite security lanes!
- Arrive in your bikini. It's always blazing hot in the airport.
- Artyom AstafurovJanuary 11, 2013In terminal 1, if you have a mobile boarding pass, go to the security checks to the right from the entrance. Those to the left don't proper scanners.
- Taxi pick up has its own location so be sure to find it as it's not same place as drop off
- Skip the starbucks where the lines are long and the employees eternally disgruntled and head around the corner to the looney bean. They'll even smile for you there.
- Terrah-Lee HordeskiOctober 27, 2010My fav time to fly out from LV is late night. You see people sleeping on the floor or wherever is comfortable. That says they had a good time :D
- Weston CobleFebruary 12, 2013Security was a breeze, maybe because it is a Tuesday afternoon, but it only took 20 min from sig. at MGM to actual terminal. Very efficient airport. My advice , fly mid week.
- Don't forget to get your In-N-Out fix while you're in town. Closest one is just under 2 miles away at 4705 S Maryland Pkwy!
- So I'm dumb. Just learned to look at the front of the line to find out what section they're seating. The poles have A,B,C at the top. #Fail
- A layover where you don't exit the plane can be a money saver vs. a terminal layover. Play the odds. Roll the dice. NB: The House always wins, in the long run.
- CristinaJune 9, 2015So cool to see the casino machines at the exit of the airport... Its like WELCOME TO LAS VEGAAAAS
- Anthony YepezAugust 21, 2012Before you take off stop at baja fresh, perfect meal to soak up all those Vegas drinks!
- Devon KesslerFebruary 24, 2013Try to get into United Club Lounge rather than waiting in terminal... SWEET... Plus free refreshments!!!
- Betty ChiangJuly 31, 2011Don't buy See's chocolates from the candy kiosk across from Burger King in the main terminal, buy it for $10 less at Hudson News!
- Jenny FeathersApril 1, 2010Do whatever you can to have your boarding pass printed before you get there if you fly Delta, check-in lines and security are bananas. If you're running late, tell them, they'll rush you at check-in.
- Going on southwest? Jersey Mikes in the "C" gates is the best!!
- Julie BoyleMarch 1, 2013Pretty good selection of outlets along the walls in addition to the Verizon booth to charge up your phone.
- The Ritz-CarltonOctober 10, 2011Welcome to McCarran International Airport, just five miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada. The airport covers over 2,500 acres and is named for former Nevada Senator Pat McCarran.
- Lisa McGillFebruary 8, 2013If flying Southwest Airlines you might want to get here several hours (not just 2) early. All of their kiosks are down.
- They have a tasty coffee bean & tea leaf here, but beware, they don't accept coffee bean gift cards. :-(
- Ingrid AnusicApril 22, 2012Shopping is shocking and get your caffein fix before heading to the airport unless you like filter coffee!
- Kyle MMay 29, 201312 dollar bag of peanuts? Let me call a buddy of mine who is a 12 dollar bag of peanuts expert...
