Will EyerJune 2, 2011Want to pick someone up on the way to Zion or Bryce Canyon, much cheaper to fly into Vegas than many other places and only 2-3 hours from major National Parks.
Easy airport to get in and out of. Be careful using GPS to return a car. It sometimes takes you to the airport instead of to rental car return.
Order your Uber/Lyft as you deplane to avoid long wait times

Plenty of dining options in Terminal D. Ruby's Burger also has selection of turkey and veggie options.
Sunday afternoon security lines at D gates are very long. Plan accordingly.
Chido Hndrx is the coolest guy that has ever walked threw this airport.

GigiSeptember 27, 2012Luggage theft is apparently a huge problem here. Go with a carry on for your expensive clothing etc. Anyone can walk away with your bag at the baggage claim. No system in place.

Not all security check in desks have the electronic boarding pass reader. A TSA agent had to take us to a different line. We were accommodated, but would have been easier to just have a print out.
Always a good Vegas exhibit on level 2 (between D and C entrance) to kill some time
The walk from C term to A & B is about 8-10 mins. Confusing signage at this point. Hope your layover isn't too quick or you'll miss your flight

Now they require ypu to use the full body scanner.if you refuse..full patio down...if I'm not in a hurry....I make them do the extra work:-) .

Dawn RDecember 13, 2010If traveling us airways and checking a bag, allow extra time for check in/bag drop off. Us airways does NOT have curbside check in so you'll have to wait in the long line.

If you take a taxi and are going to The Strip tell the driver to NOT TAKE the express way... Unless you want to pay an extra $10
