- Chaotic airport with lots of lazy couldn’t care less airport staff. A bad thing when combined with the world’s busiest airport. Sigh.
- I love TSA Pre-check. If you don't have it, get it. It's well worth the time and money.

- Passengers on Air Tran in from San Juan are sitting on airplane for over 40 minutes! No one can come to meet them cause lighting might hit them all other airlines don't have same problem!!!

- Henry WeinackerDecember 23, 2011Since You're Here: Free Wifi is available in Concourse E - so if u have a layover in ATL the food court there is a great place to hangout.
- Get there at least 90 minutes before your flight. Ladies wear dark sunglasses and act like a DIVA. Gentlemen: wear a Yankee fitted cap and be a Prima Donna while going through security!
- There is great sunny bar when you come up the escalator in concourse D. Hardly anyone here midday. Nice view of outside operations.
- Welcome to Atlanta. Make sure to tour downtown Atlanta attractions such as World of Coca~Cola and The Georgia Aquarium.
- Stay sweet and the locals will treat ya kindly... It's not their fault ur flight was delayed. :) go to Sweetwater and try the Georgia Brown.

- Free Wifi: In the Food Court in Terminal E. Worth the walk (or tram ride) if you have time. The terminal is also one of the nicer/newer ones.
- Pay attention to who's sitting next to you on flights departing from ATL. I met my soon-to-be husband on a flight last October! You just never know who you'll sit next to!
- Watch out for electrical outlet hogger! There are quite a few assholes like that on the airport, who think they own those outlets
- Come with an hour or two to spare & visit the A Walk Through Atlanta History exhibit between Concourses B & C. You'll love it!
- Construction expansion is Constant and Ongoing. Be patient. Give yourself extra time to allow for Holiday Crush🎅🏼

- Robyn TabaJune 19, 2011Terminal A is like being in a shopping mall. It reminds me of Frankfurt airport... So many types I'd shops restaurants and kiosks. Ben and Jerry's is right across gate A26. Yummy!
- Do not take the train to Terminal A. Walk instead. There is a great exhibition of Zimbabwean Art underground. Best free deal in town. When I say great, I mean GREAT!!!!!
- Minutes Suites at B15 is worth every bit of $32 for an hour of cleanliness, phone charging, relaxing, and getting work done with your shoes off.
- Tana CefaluAugust 10, 2013Also, if your flight from ATL to CSG delays, check your options for the Groomes shuttle van to drive you directly there. I got a voucher when my flight was delayed 5 times but I wish I'd asked sooner!
- Huge ass airport. Give yourself enough time to make it to your connecting gate. Smoking lounges are around the airport if you smoke cigarettes.
- Rental Cars are a mile away but easily accessible by train. Give yourself enough time!
- Jordan GrosecloseNovember 11, 2014Luckily I only layover in Atlanta and never have to deal with security, which is notoriously bad. The Atlanta airport has anything and everything you need during a layover.
- If you're traveling with a pet, make sure to check out the 1000 sq. ft. dog park located outside the west end of the North terminal baggage claim & ground transportation area.
- Robert Griesinger suggests Sean John menswear store for all your travel style needs. Fresh tees and perfect plaids on every rack.
- While the airport lounges might be nice. If you need to kill time before a flight -hang in concourse E great shopping & good place to check out the attractive foreigners traveling through.
