Named after Nathaniel Greene, second in command under George Washington. Lived in Savannah 60 days, died of a heat stroke. Eli Whitney invented the cotton engine on Greene's plantation in 1794.

Built by the Royal family after a 1755 earthquake, this has been turned into a museum in 1938. Lots of interesting collections of paintings, sculptures, glassware could be found here.
Pirates were hanged here in the 1700s. Today, this public park at the tip of the peninsula is shaded by stately oak trees and lined with benches and surrounded by stunning Antebellum mansions.
