    Go to the Pan aroma point, it at the back of the center. A must see place. Ans for a better view, go to the balcony which is to the left of the blue marble fountain using the external stairs...

    No longer free parking after 5PM on Saturdays... now $5 off of normal parking fee only on Saturdays past 5PM or 1700 for you military types..like me :-)

    The Getty Central Garden , artist Robert Irwin, has re-opened (Saturday 5/26/12) after several weeks due to some minor maintenance and some replanting.

    Try to get out of the museum at least an hour before closing time. Otherwise you'll be stuck on a long line for the tram back to the parking garage.

    The Getty has beautiful gardens so forgo the expensive cafeteria food and bring a picnic so you can truly enjoy the beautiful landscaping. (and it's a great cheap date!)

    Bring your lunch and don't forget to check out the grounds. When I brought my wife here for the first time, we brought sandwiches that we ate while sitting in the gardens.
