    Had a great time at the Getty. The exhibits are always great and on a clear day you have some of the best views of LA.

    Going on Mother's Day seemed like a bright idea; the weather was gorgeous. A great many others had the same idea, unfortunately (but not so many that it was too crowded to enjoy the galleries).

    Pack for a nice picnic on the lawn and the best part--they serve alcohol! $5 for beer and $20 for a bottle of house red or white wine. :)

    Just to update one of the tips: The Getty Center does not have free parking after 5PM on Saturdays. It charges a reduced price from their normal fee.
