- Jeffrey TascarellaFebruary 10, 2010Go to Izakaya Ten and stuff yourself silly with fried octopus. Get the shark fin for the hell of it. Sit at the bar and ask for a shochu tasting. Get hammered.
- Marjorie CJanuary 13, 2013Pricey hit or miss spot - was excited for the buta kimchee based on all the tips but was incredibly disappointed. Came burned as did 2 other dishes. Chilean sea bass was the only saving grace.
- Alan TachikawaAugust 28, 2014Just FYI their menu is no where near comprehensive as the one online. The sake list was actually quite disappointing in terms of comparing what was online and what's actually here.
- Robyn LahleinJanuary 30, 2011Absolutely have the whole octopus, a crunchy scallop roll and save room for the green tea creme brulee.
- The fried oysters? Yes please! And split some 300ml bottles of sake with friends and you'll leave feeling fine...
- Foxxy BJune 11, 2018Service is shockingly shallow & indifferent. However, come in expecting nothing & you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the sushi.
- Someone said this place is very quiet! It can get very loud when full
- Zach KubinMarch 20, 2011Order a bottle of sochu or sake and if you don't finish, they'll keep it in house for 3 months...kampai!
- Ken AllardMay 25, 2011Feels like I am back in Tokyo! (except for the exposed brick) I hope that the food is as good!
- Jim CoalwellJuly 29, 2012They don't take Amex, which is ok.. But I don't understand why there is an Amex special available to unlock at the restaurant. Dodgy.
- Buta Kimchi is NOT good! Avoid and get the real thing in ktown.
- Michio at the bar, half Brazilian half Japanese, is tops!
- The buta kimchee is amazing. Order it with rice to soak up the juices!
- Order the spicy cucumber. I was coming here for three years before I thought to do that.
- Joel BinnApril 15, 2012Make sure you get what you ordered - very disappointed that we ordered Krispy Flounder and 40 minutes later I asked where it was and they said it was just sold out - poor service
- The sushi is great, but the seating policy is horrible
- The Salup GroupNovember 4, 2010Try a new premium Ginjo Sake, either Kikusui or the Bunraku. Book a for a Sake Tasting with colleagues.
- Marjie SssJuly 4, 2018Beware they add 20% tip with out warning!!! Slow service, no AC, noisy. Good food tiny portions.
- seth meyerowitzMay 2, 2016!!! BEWARE OF THE HOT SAKE!!!! Ordered a few hot sakes w a friend tonight. Bill came and EACH HOT SAKE WAS 35$$$. I've never, in my entire sushi / saki life, seen anything like this before. Beware!!!
- Find. Eat. Drink.August 14, 2010You can buy bottles of sake or shochu and they save the leftovers for your next visit.
