All the food is great. Service is great, too. Calm and open space. Love the latkes and the fish sandwich. Try the birch juice.

Great classic Eastern European menu, including kielbasa, kasha and these fine looking verinikis. The staff is super friendly and they've got some great, unique breakfast/brunch options.

The beef stew is awesome. Come with a pile of cabbage and vegetables. Great good old comfort food. Check out the wide range of ice-cream flavors. There's one called "Killer Chocolate". Read more

The Kale & Collard Greens soup is perfect simplicity. Just like your babushka used to make. Don't expect a salty, overly seasoned assault on the palate like most restaurants in the neighborhood.

Others have mentioned dumplings and latkes, but the ice cream also deserves mention for quality and unusual flavors. Afternoon service friendly.
