By the way, the guy who was cursing me in the end. Calling me a bitch lol Go to Land of Plenty on 51st if you want authentic Sichuan food! So Much BETTER actual Sichuan food and also in midtown!!

The real treasures lie not in the Sichuan food, which is pretty standard, but rather creative dishes like massive pork meatballs in a sauce of pickled mustard greens.

The Sichuan pork belly. One of the best things I've tasted. In life. No joke. I can come here and just get that and some mapatofu and rice be happy for a very long time. BYOB a plus

Don’t come or eat here. Servers are rude and will curse at you, and the food is not authentic or spicy enough to be called Sichuan food. And oh they only tell you about the minimum charge afterwards!

Their 辣子鸡 (Chongqing chicken) is the crispiest, most flavorful, and most consistent across all midtown Sichuan places.

Sichuanese food is very very spicy, so be sure to tell your waitperson to make your food less spicy! I learned that the hard way, eeyowwwwchhhh!!

The mapo tofu has the most awesome level of spiciness that slowly creeps up on you and keeps you warm for the rest of the night.

BYOB is a must. We saved so much money getting tipsy over spicy Chinese food because we brought two bottles of wine.

Easily one of the best Szechuan meals in town. Try the Meatball in green sauce!

They let me switch tables after being seated with one with a plug so I can charge my phone! We ordered some "veggie" meal that has meat and they offered to take them out since my mom is a vegetarian.

I don't get it. This place is packed all the time but every time I've eaten here the food is mediocre. Tonight I ordered the Beef Chili & Black Bean. The beef was RUBBERY & the dish had no spice.

Horrible service. Waitress forgot our orders/placed one of them wrong. Never refilled our drinks. Yet came to us at the end demanding more tip. We tip based on service and service sucked.

Very good food but pretty expensive and maybe not good value. They don't take Amex and won't let you use any credit card for meals under $20. They are not very accommodating.
