- Vi SartreJuly 16, 2018By the way, the guy who was cursing me in the end. Calling me a bitch lol Go to Land of Plenty on 51st if you want authentic Sichuan food! So Much BETTER actual Sichuan food and also in midtown!!
- Serious EatsFebruary 10, 2015The real treasures lie not in the Sichuan food, which is pretty standard, but rather creative dishes like massive pork meatballs in a sauce of pickled mustard greens.
- Gina LeeApril 8, 2013The Sichuan pork belly. One of the best things I've tasted. In life. No joke. I can come here and just get that and some mapatofu and rice be happy for a very long time. BYOB a plus
- Excellent Chinese food, killer lunch special. Be adventurous and try one of the bigger dishes!
- Vi SartreJuly 16, 2018Don’t come or eat here. Servers are rude and will curse at you, and the food is not authentic or spicy enough to be called Sichuan food. And oh they only tell you about the minimum charge afterwards!
- Their 辣子鸡 (Chongqing chicken) is the crispiest, most flavorful, and most consistent across all midtown Sichuan places.
- Xian XianMarch 3, 2014Sichuanese food is very very spicy, so be sure to tell your waitperson to make your food less spicy! I learned that the hard way, eeyowwwwchhhh!!
- JohannaJanuary 6, 2015The mapo tofu has the most awesome level of spiciness that slowly creeps up on you and keeps you warm for the rest of the night.
- Garett PressDecember 11, 2013BYOB is a must. We saved so much money getting tipsy over spicy Chinese food because we brought two bottles of wine.
- Harish HoonFebruary 2, 2015And for the finale the fish in some spicy sauce (just show them the picture)
- Rahul SenSeptember 23, 2013Easily one of the best Szechuan meals in town. Try the Meatball in green sauce!
- Michael NguyenSeptember 30, 2013They let me switch tables after being seated with one with a plug so I can charge my phone! We ordered some "veggie" meal that has meat and they offered to take them out since my mom is a vegetarian.
- Jesse ItzkowitzJune 8, 2013got the lunch special....mapo tofu was very good- numbing and spicy..fried spicy chicken was also good ma-la, but way too salty. .horrbile service..waited 1.5 hours for lunch
- I don't get it. This place is packed all the time but every time I've eaten here the food is mediocre. Tonight I ordered the Beef Chili & Black Bean. The beef was RUBBERY & the dish had no spice.
- Ordered the Orange Beef and a noodle dish. Both bland as can be. You can do better.
- styleandtasteSeptember 30, 2013Horrible service. Waitress forgot our orders/placed one of them wrong. Never refilled our drinks. Yet came to us at the end demanding more tip. We tip based on service and service sucked.
- Very good food but pretty expensive and maybe not good value. They don't take Amex and won't let you use any credit card for meals under $20. They are not very accommodating.
- Best Sichuanese food I had in NYC! Very authentic and tasty as heck! If you are an authentic Chinese food chaser or looking to give your taste buds a lift, this is a must go place!
- Vi SartreJuly 16, 2018Nothing is good or authentic. Not spicy at all even asked for a side of hot sauce. Service is horrible. 0/10 is being generous. only tell you that the minimum charge on card is $15 after eating
