Don't forget your headset and some good music, LAX is continuously playing music that melts your brain. One of the worst airports I've been too with Abu Dhabi...
Pack a power strip, especially if you have to power/charge multiple devices. You'll look like a hero and/or not an ass.
Always terribly crowded. The free wifi almost makes up for it. Almost. Come in or leave somewhere else if you can.

Well, I would say anything except getting here! The traffic is horrible!! Make sure you leave plenty of time.
Terminal 2 free Wifi if you sit past Starbucks, Air France free wifi if you accept T&Cs

JonMay 16, 2012Everyone hates standing in the long lines but no one pays attention to the 5 open self-check in kiosks. They instead wait for someone to tell them it's open.
John KurokawaJune 23, 2013This place is a hellpit. The check in systems for most of the airlines are automated and the attendants are of no help and extremely rude. Get in and out as soon as you can.

When going through security ask for Lenard as he provides a TSA pat down that is thorough and isn't that the point -- our security.

Always get something to eat before entering the gate.. It's going to be a while! McD upstairs!
If you're in the 44 Gate for American, be a little early. They truck you out to another terminal in a bus. Old school.

Note to vegetarians stuck in Terminal 3: food court includes shit vegetarian options. Starbucks, Burger King, Gladstone's Fish. Only real veg option is deli stand w/tasteless & overpriced sandwiches.
