- Wtf? You have to pay for a trolley? Come on MAN!
- Sadly very little. Obvious that no real money has been spent for ages. It looks tatty, gets patched up rather than updated. Arrived from AMS. From plane wherls doen almost 1 hour. Not good enough.
- Nice selection of restaurants and the shops aren't overbearing.
- andy taitNovember 12, 2018-Mean spirited airport management. Drop off fee of £3 at departures .£1 fee for a baggage trolley.Embarrassing to see overseas visitors arrive and struggle to get currency & change for a trolley .😡
- Get the fast pass through security in order to spend less time in this terrible airport.
- Billy WarrilowSeptember 13, 2016Been many airports and Manchester is good, once through check in some good shops ect. But as with most airports can be very busy
- A lot of building and development going on here at the moment but some care and attention to the existing toilets should be made first...they are truly disgusting and shameful in places.
- Get here early. Even getting there 2 hours in advance doesn't guarantee you won't be running for your plane anymore!
- Pre-pay for your taxi with Airport Taxis outside arrivals as it's a set fare & loads cheaper than a Hackney cab!
- Frederic NuyttensDecember 3, 2014Joe's kitchen And coffee house is Great ! Try the camembert berry burger !
- Pret A Manger is much cheaper than Starbucks and the coffee is excellent
- Free wifi, lots of parking options and plenty of food and drink options in each terminal
- SailorJanuary 27, 2019The staff here don't have initiative and everything is broken or out of service, it's massive and awkward without a lot of food options and far too many shops.
- Security was a complete chaos. People crammed together, being pushed through the isles like cattle. My most stressful airport experience yet.
- JennersJanuary 8, 2019£3 fee for dropping off outsider Terminal 3. There is a free drop-off zone without shuttle buses to alleviate traffic and £££.
- Halley Whitten-ConnollyJuly 23, 2017We flew with Thomas Cook, the booking staff were very rude. But apart from that the rest of the experience at MAN was good. This airport makes it easy for traveling with children.
- Not fond of the route into the Airport, can get kinda confusing. How about a route into the terminal then arrivals and departures. T2 is perhaps the easiest to navigate.
- Use the valet parking option. More than off site but much cheaper than the on airport long stay and great service. Car waiting upon your return.
- sit in the bar + laugh at all the people who are late doing the 'dad run' to catch their flight.. Priceless!
- Changed the entrance to t1 multi storey . Drive through the drop off and turn right at the end (up ramp). Round the corner are the barriers.
- Anton MavrinAugust 18, 2018This airport URGENTLY NEEDS ⚒RENOVATION🛠! C’mon, guys! Start doing instead of talking!
- Jummah prayer at terminal 3's prayer room at 1330 (summer) and 1300 (winter)
- T3: the worst airport terminal I've ever been in. Very long queue at the security, tiny lounge area, at least 15 min queue for an average sandwich. I'd say arrive early but there's no place to sit!
- The most greedy airport. Beware: Trolleys take coins but you won't get them back. You have to pay stg1 for Plastic bags for Liquids do when you're in London stock up on them if you use them.
- Brendan MillardSeptember 8, 2014Cranky people at the boarding pass check.. Don't worry about giving them a smile, doesn't seem to make their day any brighter!
- S Gary FieldhouseSeptember 29, 2013Try the bar at Giraffe - T1 - service is excellent and the prices are ok as well!
- I think the security is very strict therefore I’m happy BUT, the airport staff is shit at organising queues therefore allow an extra 15-30 minutes just to be at the safe side.
- 4sq North West EnglandAugust 6, 2011Welcome to Manchester! Head to the railway station for frequent trains to the city centre as well as other destinations around the north of England.
- Avoid this place like the plague. Worst airport in the civilized world, and there are probably better airports in the African jungle as well.Upvoted Mar 25
- Good one! Tower road is the place which you get the shuttle buses!
- Trent BoydDecember 1, 2018This airport is a great engineering feat in that it has been made almost entirely of scaffolding, gum and spit.
- Spyros TheodoritsisNovember 12, 2021Check your gate at the airport website an hour before it's announced on the board.
- Shauna LawhorneNovember 8, 2010When passing by Olympic House make sure to find and pet Olly, a super sweet, and apparently quite famous, orange and white cat. Love her!
- Seamus McQuillanFebruary 21, 2022Go early to get by the security checks, not very well organized at all.
- Definitely the airport with the rudest security operatorsUpvoted Mar 25
- Natalia KędzioraApril 11, 2015Loads of places to eat and shop. Some gates require a pretty long walk.
- jon accarrinoFebruary 23, 2013If you're traveling long distances (like to Liverpool), then hire a private taxi at the airport exit. It's cheaper than a street taxi.
- Peter CuypersAugust 18, 2014Nothing is good here. Massive queues in claustrophobic corridors. Endless stairways up and dow down. How in God's name did this airport receive an award? English humor?
- Eugene SinkeviciOctober 6, 2014Very long walk with three lifts on the way from train station to Terminal 3
- Tom RiesNovember 18, 2011Smoking area is on level 2. Just take the escalator and follow the sing. Btw: It's an outside area - take you coat with you.
- The BA lounge is pretty good to get away from the tourist travellers.
