Disappointing as ever. Usual slow border control and particularly slow baggage reclaim. It’s really poor despite the millions they spend. Anywhere on the globe is more efficient than Manchester.
Possibly the worst airport in the world. The security queues are insane, the technology is backwards. It just gets worst and worst with every year

Quite possibly the WORST airport I've ever been to! Airport security queues take forever, limited seating areas once you're through passport control. Sort it Manchester, shame on you!

HMV at terminal 1 has very helpful staff and the prices are excellent, often cheaper than online.
Terminal 2 is so nice....how have I never been through here?
Manchester’s leading airport. Definitely prefer Leeds.

Kurtis SherryDecember 22, 2017Extremely slow security despite very few people waiting. Free Wi-fi only lasts an hour, then you have to pay £5 per hour or £10 per day which is ridiculous
Wifi is not as easy to get into as in Ireland but is free so can't complain

Jummah prayer at terminal 3's prayer room at 1330 (summer) and 1300 (winter)
Anna WallaceSeptember 23, 2014It's true what they say: security here is rigorous and slow. Make sure you plan for getting through! It's taken us about 25mins with no queues.
This is not a good airport. Always delays with baggage. How can there be delays with loading baggage when it's the first flight out in the morning.
