Don't fly American at all costs the terminal is chaotic the staff is rude and their planes have the least amount of leg room I have ever flown on. Expect to wait up to 30 min for your bags at claim.
SOOOOOO SLOOOOOOOW. Airport security is the epitome of a useless inefficient dumb meatbags pretending to do anything about security, damn time blackhole checking in and going through security checks..
Don't bother checking in online and using your phone as your boarding pass because gate H and J TSA security don't have the scanner for it.
EDRMay 13, 2023Passport control is ridiculous! Hours to get in, worse than my last experience in Myanmar.
Always arrive early for checkin. MIA almost always has long security lines.
Way out-of-date, some security points can't even handle electronic boarding passes (ie on smartphone), pretty sad for such a major airport.- Local flight connecting to international? Prepare to wait 45 min for your luggage :/
If you fly American and checked your bag, plan for a long wait to retrieve your luggage. This is the only airport in the US where the wait in baggage claim is one hour average.
Speak Spanish to TSA, they don't blink unlike in Indianapolis
