OMG the hike to and from check in to immigration and customs is the worst! But the service was hassle free for me.
Hurry up out of your plane to try to avoid the 1-2 hours at the immigration line...

The worst AirPort I've EVER been 2.Crowded,dirt and noisy. RUN AWAY from American Airlines.Their ground staff is just AWFUL.Uninformed,RUDE and uncapable of speak plain english. Also lost ALL my bags.

I dislike this airport very much. The WiFi never works. I have more success with WiFi on a plane than in the airport.
If flying American, check your gate ahead of time and enter through D or E terminal accordingly to save yourself a 20 minute walk.
Mignon MayApril 23, 2012TSA here is brutal. They are extremely inefficient and rude. If your bag doesn't clear security, they make you go all the way to the back of the line. Arrive at least two hours before your flight.
Spend as little time here as possible. Food options are terrible (especially for breakfast) and there's no free wifi.
Contrary to popular belief MIA and her song "Paper Planes" is neither about the airport nor the quality of American Airlines planes.

Marius KroonAugust 30, 2013F pier is horrendous. Make sure that you have eaten, bought your magazines and anything else BEFORE customs.
If you aren't from Miami grab a cortadito and a pastelito from la carreta
Don't pay the $5 for the wifi. It works for 5 seconds then laughs at you for the remaining 25 while it doesn't work. Infuriating!

Reddee 86May 2, 2018Worst airport ever for departures. Long and slow queues with only two staff members at the check-in counters. And the other ground crew didn’t help much either.
After all the improvements, it finally looks as an international Airpot. Good Job!!
