- Tony TMay 20, 2016It looks like another world down there! Dress as if your heading out to the beach and wear tennis shoes. I've been to a handful of caves and this one really takes the cake.
- She _March 17, 2013I prefer the Hidden Passages tour over the main tour (Discovery) because it's limited to a set number of people, it's guided with more details given, and the added experience of total darkness.
- James KerbyMarch 11, 2016There are 2 caves here and each has its merits, we like the original cave better than the more recently discovered hidden passages cave. There's a ropes course and zip lines, too
- Blanca BravoAugust 12, 2019Wear comfortable non-slip shoes, I wore tennis shoes. You will get wet from natural water droplets and puddles. Be hydrated 99% humidity. There’s a lot to do and price is fair.
- Mark EastwoodApril 1, 2013Check out the "combo" ticket that gets you both the original tour and the "hidden passages" tour. The hidden passages tour is lots of steps rather than an inclined path.
- Jimmy KastnerAugust 7, 2017Come for the cave tours. Everything else is a tourist trap. Try to keep up with the guide. It's hard to do if you want to take long exposures. Prepare to sweat!
- The Most Interesting Man in the WorldApril 14, 2014I met a woman named Maria here who introduced me to spelunking. As well as how to explore dark places with your hands.
- Jei KuNovember 27, 2012Discovery Tour was awesome. We actually saw one bat that flew around but the cave..was breathtaking!
- Joel ValdezJanuary 11, 2012The 75-minute tour travels through a half-mile of the largest and most spectacular show cavern in Texas.
- Melanie LongJanuary 26, 2021The caverns are cool but this place is SUPER touristy. Just be prepared.
- Jason HastingsJuly 26, 2012The lantern tour is the best you get to explore the cave like how they discovered it. Go at 9 am no croud
- Alex GarridoDecember 27, 2013Make sure you take strong tennis shoes. It is a very slippery and irregular way down. Otherwise, it is beautiful.
- Sarah SotoAugust 25, 2015I did the discovery tour and it was pretty neat. The tour guide was funny as well.
- Lisa BaileyNovember 6, 2016It's cool to see, but the tour groups are way too big for the discovery tour. If you are claustrophobic, skip going on any tour.
- John McCoyMarch 13, 2013Get here early (as in as soon as they open). The lines can get ridiculously long as the day goes by.
- Jeremie FisherJuly 2, 2013They give a free military ticket for those who are serving with active duty ID
- Visit San AntonioMay 2, 2011Receive $2 off an adult ticket or $1 off a child’s ticket when you bring in your SAVE coupon from the attached link! Read more
- Jason TangoAugust 8, 2013The Discovery Tour is free for active-duty military; Hidden passage is 19.99.
- Mark StringhamJune 16, 2011Get here as early as possible. Small groups at 9 AM crowds in the afternoon.
- Mark EastwoodApril 1, 2013Its warm and humid in the caves ... not the cool humid you might have been expecting.
- Sor VgAugust 19, 2012Un lugar maravilloso!!! Vale la pena!!! Sí pueden hacer todos los tours sería genial!!!
