A hub and major connection point for US Airways and Southwest Airlines, if flying any other airline then you will likely face less delays and cancellations due to not being their hub

Double check the departures board. It's a long, but pleasant walk if they have changed your gate. :-)

Many have complained about lack of outlets to recharge your phone/laptop, but I found no waiting for barstool/counter space at Southwest plug-in stations near gates D1-8, with great view of runways.

On any and all escalators and moving sidewalks in the airport: Stand on the right so people who want to walk can pass you safely on the left.

If you're using the light rail system - skip the rental car shacks, you get double taxed by the airport. ZipCar all around ASU - and no need if you're hitting downtown Tempe.

No matter what airline your fly, make sure you're at the gate 45 minutes to an hour prior to departure. Doors close 10 minutes prior to departure. Airplanes don't wait for you, YOU wait for airplanes.
