- A hub and major connection point for US Airways and Southwest Airlines, if flying any other airline then you will likely face less delays and cancellations due to not being their hub

- Huge line at ticketing. See the sky cabs outside. Your in and out in a few minutes.....don't forget to tip the guys.
- Bridget CanniffOctober 26, 2010Many have complained about lack of outlets to recharge your phone/laptop, but I found no waiting for barstool/counter space at Southwest plug-in stations near gates D1-8, with great view of runways.

- Be sure to leave plenty of time for security. The lines can get LONG here.
- If possible. Stay inside with the air conditioning. After all its phoenix and for sure it's over 100 degrees.

- At terminal 2 and the place is dead. Usually through here in the mid afternoon (when the place is crazy ) or morning (when it's a madhouse)

- If you sit near the us airways executive lounge at A5 you can get free wifi!
- Nice airport... Delta Check-In is quite efficient and so is TSA screening. Starbucks in Terminal 3!

- They've added a Starbucks on the south side of baggage claim. Now you don't have to wait out in the heat/cold for your ride.

- No matter what airline your fly, make sure you're at the gate 45 minutes to an hour prior to departure. Doors close 10 minutes prior to departure. Airplanes don't wait for you, YOU wait for airplanes.
- They have switched around the family and A-list lines again. Don't run in on auto-pilot!
- Small airport, but long skirts equal a pat down, ladies!! Surprise to me...but all are friendly here!!!
- The coffee at Cartel coffee lab is AMAZING DONT LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING IT !!! Across from gate C12

- The Chelsea's kitchen restaurant in terminal 4 is actually very good. It's before security.

- One of my favorite restaurants, Barrio Cafe, is now at Terminal 4 in the D gates.
- You are allowed to bring dogs into the airport. Next time you are picking up a friend, bring your dog inside. Everyone will love it.

- Steve BullOctober 5, 2013Between planes do not stop to rest between gates A and B between flights. US Airways closed the gate in my face 9 minutes before takeoff. If you are reading this you probably missed your connection.
- Most of the ticketing counters don't open until about 4. If you have an early flight, either plan on carrying on your bag or waiting in a long line.

- Come early to check in during March. Spring Training and Spring Break bring out the crowds and long lines.
