- All of the gates in terminal 4 connect so if one line is too long at a gate hit another. The walk may be long, but better than standing there!
- Pays to give up your seat on southwest. Free baileys and coffee the whole way!!!
- Charlie JoslinMarch 29, 2012Southwest normally has the shortest security lines and they've got better service overall. Also the free wifi is awesome.
- Benjamin LotanMay 2, 2012Be careful, everyone here is wild and on drugs. It is important to stay focused and keep your head down. Get on your flight and get out of here.
- JNETSeptember 23, 2012Enjoy the free wifi but be sure to check the monitor for your gate. Last moment gate changes happen :)

- Timothy MöhleMay 11, 2015TSA pre-check allowed for a smooth fast pass through security and avoided my typical temper tantrum.
- Sat PanesarAugust 17, 2014Le Madeleine ... healthier choices than Paradise ... service friendly but not that fast ... so be ready to hang ...
- Love this airport~!!! Just look out the windows at the beautiful desert, especially Camel Back~!!!
- OMG airline diagrams and factoids on the windows lining the moving walkway halls. Also, airplanes in carpet. Weee! #avgeek
- Anthony & Katie ZavalaMay 6, 2018Arizona does not partake in Daylight savings, so be sure plan layovers carefully.
- Free Wifi (pronounced wiffee) here at PHX. Make sure to take advantage of it before there's free Wifi everywhere.
- Don't stand right next to the baggage claim while waiting for your bag, you're blocking everyone who actually sees their bag and needs to pick it up. I'll throw elbows!
- B security shuts down by 9 p.m. It's a long walk via C gates. I pity the young families and elderly.
- It's weird that all the food stuff is in the middle pre-security. I was hoping to grab a nice bite in Terminal 4 but there was just a bar and like turkey and swiss sandwiches by gate 23 :(
- Sung won LimJune 14, 2011United Airways tend to shuffle gates around at the last minute, and airport wings don't have enough notice boards. Make sure to keep on top of the schedule.
- Sarah NammJuly 22, 2011One of the best airports once you get inside... Parking and outer navigation is tricky
- This place (Terminal A) is a madhouse - mind your step, someone may run over your foot or bonk you off balance. PHX Term A is cramped and crowded.
- Enjoy delicious breakfast at La Grande Orange. Just passed security check point D.. Amazing food & good vibes on the radio!
- Jenn HoltSeptember 21, 2013The tsa security check points are pretty unorganized You get in line to put your stuff in the bins, then you have to wait with it to push it through, then you get back in line to be screened. Stupid.
- RCDecember 25, 2016Oh. My. Goodness. DO NOT fly in here from an international destination. Waited on the plane for an open gate for 40 minutes. Also, it's at least a half mile from international terminal to A gates.
- Don't be rude to the TSA people just do what your supposed to do and you'll get through quick and be early for your flight
- The secret to a great business trip is to always get a shoe shine at the airport
- Aaron FowlesNovember 23, 2012Olive and Ivy marketplace has awesome chocolate chip cookies. I'm swimming in happy right now.
- Robert SronceAugust 10, 2015The news stores at D gates did not have premade sandwiches like I'm used to seeing. The options for grab and go are limited.
- Be prepared to walk in this airport! No bus or train! Take advantage of the moving sidewalks!
- Probably the most fitting name for an airport. Sitting on the runway here gets hot hot hot.
- Marc BentonSeptember 28, 2011Try the Nachos Grande at Oaxaca Mexican Food in the food court outside the security screeners. Excellent!
- Dudes try to give you a ride to gate on the trams then aggressively grovel for tips.
- Melanie GonzalezFebruary 8, 2012Use the moving pathways, helps cut down time when changing planes. Walk on the left and stand on the right
- Terminal 3 is worse than the surrounding Arizona desert. Buy anything you need or want before even arriving to airport. Nothing here but a newsstand and one dumpy restaurant. Not even a coffee shop.
- They opened a flipping la grande orange, sauce, and Chelsea's kitchen. I love you sky harbor.
- Dave SchibelJuly 24, 2011Terminal 4 has the backscatter machines at TSA, my scan showed my "large anomonly" which gave the agent right to molest me in a physical groping search under my genitals for a bomb or weapon.
- Terminal Four is where it's at. Dining options are few in Terminal Three, and there aren't as many charging stations.
- Head to B22 to Cowboy Ciao for a Stetson Chopped salad. You won't be sorry.
- If you have to connect to terminal 2. Leave security, go down to level 1, then exit at door 2. Silver terminal bus picks up on the island.
- Christopher RobbinsFebruary 26, 2015It's easy to get in and out of. Seems to be pretty clean too! Nice airport!
- Danielle BrownMay 17, 2013The airport should invest in a plane train system. Walking through individual concourses isn't fun when you transfer planes.
- Cowboy Ciao has the Stetson Chopped Salad. Possibly the best salad ever.
- Allison MurrayJune 18, 2012Returning your rental car here is inconvenient and can be confusing. From Washington turn south on 24th to a right on sky harbor circle
