Ditch the pancakes and go for the oyster omelette. You won't regret it! Also, go after 230 pm to avoid the line

Try the spicy chickpeas with crumbed eggs. Delicious, and one if the most interesting things on the menu.

Amazing food, I'll come back to give it another try. But maybe avoid a group of 3, they placed us on the tiniest table for 2 and it was annoyingly cramped.

This restaurant comes highly recommended, both by us (have the lamb!) and by Mandy Coon, who loves their bloody mary and the bone marrow. Read more of Mandy's New York recommendations at ofakind.com.

You can't go wrong with any appetiser here that includes blue cheese. I know that sounds dumb but trust me.

Great for brunch but a hit at dinner, too. Spaghetti carbonara; black rice with duck; blistered squid; whole grilled fish.

Good brunch dishes, and an elaborate Bloody Mary menu. They don't take reservations for brunch, so be preparedto wait...

Expect to wait a while if you don't have a reservation on Sundays. Had the pancake w/ pear toppings on it. Absolutely mouth-watering and gargantuan! Crisp on the outside layer which is a plus!

Insane wait time for weekend brunch, so go next door for a drink while you wait. When you finally get in, order a bloody Mary and the huevos rancheros!

Mediterranean sea bass was good. Small place. Good service and food. One hiccup, reservations trump walk-ins, as in they'll make you feel as if your imposing DURING a meal when a reservation comes in.

Worth the wait! The Dutch Pancakes are a MUST! Oyster omelette and huevos rancheros are good too. Steak and eggs a bit too oily...

Their play on the lobster roll is fun and inventive, but the mussels are where it's really at. Reasonable corkage for the wine geeks out there.

Regretted getting the "Eggs En Cocotte" brunch item. Consisted of a small ramiken filled with a few chunks of chicken and a poached egg. They compensated the small dish with 4 pieces of toast. SKIP.

Few restaurants in this town do this quintessential brunch cocktail better than Prune. Bloody Mary newbies should start with either a classic or the Chicago match.

Brunch is the highlight for this East Village classic, but don't expect an omelet - robust dishes like grilled merguez with oysters and nine kinds of Bloody Marys are de rigueur here!
