Horrible experience & that was just waiting at the bar for a drink. I can't imagine the table service. Bartender looked me right in the face when I was trying to order a drink & walked away. 3 times.

For a southerner, the improvements on soul food here are that the dishes are still tasty, but lighter and less greasy. But perhaps at the expense of flavor and being comforting. Liked the pudding

I was so disappointed with my experience. Very overhyped and the quality of food was subpar for price. The steak was so tough I actually choked so I couldn't finish.

Decent, but overrated and not worth what they're charging. Fills a niche for people with tons of disposable income to waste uptown. Seriously not worth the splurge for the working class
