- Be forewarned! SJC is still under construction, tho looking beautiful & like a real airport. The walk from gate to baggage claim/exit is a HAUL! It'll feel like you're walking for miles. Good cardio!

- Marty YawnickMarch 30, 2013No more American Airlines Admiral's Club. The Club at SJC is the only lounge in the airport. It's really nice! $35/person to get in unless you have a Priority Pass, one of the perks of AmEx Platinum.
- Judith AndrewsMay 31, 2014Best food (and choices) is in Terminal B. If you have the time, just walk down to the higher numbered gates and you're there!
- SJC is one long strip of gates that are on only one side. It can be a long walk to get to and from your gate. Not great. People with mobility issues should be prepared. The area has outgrown SJC.
- Easy car rental access from airport building. The security lines can get long - makeuse of your TSA pre-check if you have it.

- There is an illy coffee bar in Terminal B (accessible from Terminal A) that makes a great proscuitto, tomato and basil sandwich as well as having the best coffee in the airport.
- Spacious airport, usually fast TSA lines and plugs and charges between seats.
- New Charging station area with desks, chairs, and plenty if power outlets. Across from gate 18.
- Ruben RodriguezOctober 29, 2011Free Wi-Fi that actually works at Gate 12. Most of the time, I can never connect at other free Wi-Fi hot spots. The chairs by the wndow all have a power outlet to charge up the gadgets.
- I can get my bags, laptop, liquids, shoes, and metal accessories into the gray TSA trays in under 20 seconds, and you can too. I believe in you.
- DoubleTree by HiltonOctober 3, 2011Travel is a great excuse to clean out your purse! Getting rid of clutter in your carry-on bag will allow Transportation Security Officers to get a clear X-ray of your bag and save you time.
- Women's bathroom stalls have little seats you can strap your little monster into while you take care of business (according to my wife)

- Southwest gate agents aren’t online until 5 AM or so - plan accordingly when taking a redeye and get some more sleep.

- Awesome airport! Fly here for easy access to Santa Cruz, Monterey or Carmel. Love the rental car center!
- Really nice airport here but it’s a long walk without moving sidewalks if you go in the wrong entrance for your airline.
- Pro Tip for Airline Pilots and Flight Crew, SJC currently does not offer KCM, Known Crew Member. SFO and LAX are the only airports in California that do offer KCM.
- Arrival TimeIt is recommended that you arrive 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure for check in and security processing for domestic flights and 2 hours prior for international flights.

- There's a piano here that anybody can play while waiting for your flight.
- The relay in-between Terml A and Terml B is very peacefull and quiet.... without Volaris passengers sitting there of course!! lol. Gotta love the huge painting tho!! NICE!
- Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the water bottle filler across from gates 24 & 25 is closed so the closest available ones are at gates 18 or 32.
- I think we’ve got a decent set of food options now.. Peet’s coffee, Mexican Grill, Smash burger etc., the charging ports under the seats aren’t working anymore
- Ryan SJune 25, 2014Been here 4-5 times and have never waited longer than 10-15 mins to go through security. Super fast, super easy!!
- Just made A-List Preferred on SouthwestAir. Usually I'm holding my breath in December to get airlines status. It's only June 7. Yikes!
- Small but efficient airport, from drop off to gate usually less than 30 mins!
- Nice small airport! Much closer to the Bay Area than SFO, and easier and friendlier too.

- Brendan FarrellDecember 9, 2013Only TSA Pre "lite" @SJC. No TSA pre line, instead use regular line, may wear jackets, shoes, etc thru scanner, BUT due 2 scanner sensitivity have to remove everything anyway & remove laptops @United

- Love the Airport except for the long walk after a long flight from gate to baggage claim area.
- You can walk from Terminal A through Terminal B to get to the Rental Cars to save time!
- Ebony HarrisDecember 28, 2013Come early! TSA line is ridiculous long, and they only have 3 lines open. Open up all the lines! It's Saturday, duh!
- One of the easiest airports to get through. Only burbank is easier. Just break out the walking shoes if flying Alaska or Southwest.
- Lots of people with lots of first world problems. if you can afford to fly - you are better off than 95% of the world. The FREE wifi is slow when I am sitting in my massage chair.
- Great airport!!! Very convenient parking and terminal A is very new and shiny.
