Be forewarned! SJC is still under construction, tho looking beautiful & like a real airport. The walk from gate to baggage claim/exit is a HAUL! It'll feel like you're walking for miles. Good cardio!

While you’re waiting for your flight, you can stay connected with AT&T Wi-Fi. It’s easy to connect and free for AT&T customers w/ certain smartphone or home broadband plans.

No more American Airlines Admiral's Club. The Club at SJC is the only lounge in the airport. It's really nice! $35/person to get in unless you have a Priority Pass, one of the perks of AmEx Platinum.

Best food (and choices) is in Terminal B. If you have the time, just walk down to the higher numbered gates and you're there!

SJC is one long strip of gates that are on only one side. It can be a long walk to get to and from your gate. Not great. People with mobility issues should be prepared. The area has outgrown SJC.

Easy car rental access from airport building. The security lines can get long - makeuse of your TSA pre-check if you have it.

The ceiling art between gates 19/20 is uhmazeing! The 'e-cloud' @ 22/23 is RAD! The Baron Von Munchausen creation outside security is excellent! The aquarium @ 24/25 is cool too! Well done new SJC! I

There is an illy coffee bar in Terminal B (accessible from Terminal A) that makes a great proscuitto, tomato and basil sandwich as well as having the best coffee in the airport.

Free Wi-Fi that actually works at Gate 12. Most of the time, I can never connect at other free Wi-Fi hot spots. The chairs by the wndow all have a power outlet to charge up the gadgets.

Travel is a great excuse to clean out your purse! Getting rid of clutter in your carry-on bag will allow Transportation Security Officers to get a clear X-ray of your bag and save you time.

Pro Tip for Airline Pilots and Flight Crew, SJC currently does not offer KCM, Known Crew Member. SFO and LAX are the only airports in California that do offer KCM.
