Really convenient compared to SFO if you are in bay area but not SF. quick to get around..

Ruben RodriguezOctober 29, 2011Free Wi-Fi that actually works at Gate 12. Most of the time, I can never connect at other free Wi-Fi hot spots. The chairs by the wndow all have a power outlet to charge up the gadgets.
Women's bathroom stalls have little seats you can strap your little monster into while you take care of business (according to my wife)
Look out for the seats with partitions... they have all your charging needs satisfied

Clean, modern, and convenient airport. Best way to fly into the SF area. Cheaper car rentals than SFO.
Apparently if you buy a ticket you can board something called a plane and go to interesting places - try it, you will be amazed.

Impressive. 4 TSA Desks compared to just 2 at a bigger airport of SFO. Good job San Jose to keep like lines short.

You can walk from Terminal A through Terminal B to get to the Rental Cars to save time!
Brendan FarrellDecember 9, 2013Only TSA Pre "lite" @SJC. No TSA pre line, instead use regular line, may wear jackets, shoes, etc thru scanner, BUT due 2 scanner sensitivity have to remove everything anyway & remove laptops @United
Pro Tip for Airline Pilots and Flight Crew, SJC currently does not offer KCM, Known Crew Member. SFO and LAX are the only airports in California that do offer KCM.
Economy lot 1 seems to always be full now. Have to park all the way down at lots 4 or 6 at Terminal B. A total pain in the ass.
One of the beat airports I've been to, love the A-list check in AND also at the security, I think only southwest has that.
1 Hour Express parking for picking up people is the best idea ever!!!!
A smaller selection of flights and carriers, but there's almost never a fog-related delay.
The men's restroom I visited only had 4 urinals and it was a logjam waiting because you wait in the entryway...

Great little airport! Security is usually pretty fast here.
If arriving after 9pm the airport (especially Terminal A) is deserted with most restaurants closed. Gordon Biersch next to Gate 11 in Terminal A is one of the only places open.

Parking: Economy $15/day, closer to Terminal A, shuttle provided, allow for more time for other terminals. Close to Terminal B, Lot 4+5 $22/day; No shuttle in Lot 4. Lot 6 $30/day yes shuttle Lots 5+6

Not a bad airport, if trying to take public transportation from SF is a joke. There really needs to be a more direct / faster way to fly SJC from SF using public transportation.

Schurra's chocolate truffles are sold in the terminal. These are locally made and very good.
It’s official: there is nothing noteworthy about this airport. Zero. It is as utilitarian as it gets for an airport that serves 40,000 people a day.
Great food selection and fast service through the TSA.
The sushi bar, Sora, by gate 11 has a long power strip along the window where you can plug in.
Best place to park for daily is terminal A parking - no security lines and short walk to terminal B
First class airport, try the new coffee show "star-bucks" for their wildly innovative 'mocha'
