- Douglas HawksMay 14, 2012Several seating areas now have outlets for every chair. Find these and no need to sit on the floor for power
- Park in cell phone lot until flight lands. The park in direct access parking for easy in and put.
- The Wi-Fi is free, the restaurants are actually quite good (if you have the time) and security is a breeze if you're prepared.
- Food options not great, but I do love that they have a children’s play area in the central terminal.
- United's mobile phone boarding pass may just make up for all the annoying upgrade attempts. Quick and easy for bag checks and security!
- The Daily SipDecember 2, 2010Vino Volo is a great place to grab a glass (or a bottle) and have a snack before a flight
- Rob LojekMay 7, 2013Great eats past security -- but they're not on the map by the ticketing counters.
- Ulysses .August 15, 2021WTF SeaTac closing 4 out of 5 men’s bathrooms for maintenance right when flights come in at midnight.
- Just arrived? Take a taxi instead of Uber/Lyft and save yourself the long wait.
- United Airline's mobile boarding pass doesn't work well here. Be sure to get a printed pass at the check-in counter before going to the security gates.
- Grace BJune 7, 2013Alaska Airlines is the way to go. Great customer service and comfortable flights.
- Dan LurieJanuary 10, 2012I've had to transfer trains more times just to get to my gate at SEA than I would to get from anywhere to anywhere in NYC.
- 7 AM, Thursday mornings give extra time to go thru security. Lines are extremely long
- You have to take stairs part of the way up to the C gates from the tram.
- Tyler TannerSeptember 28, 2014Skip Anthony's. Go to Ivar's instead. Sit by the big window & watch the planes. Free wifi. Plenty of charging stations.
- If your goal is to find a plane leaving Seattle, this is the place to go...they have TONS of them!
- SSJanuary 18, 2012This place is all about escalators. Check in upstairs, security downstairs, tram more downstairs, flights upstairs!
- You don't have to take your shoes or jacket off if you have status. Almost like the old days.
- Allow plenty of time if your flight is around 10 pm. Half the checkpoints are closed and the others are busy
- Beautiful ExistenceOctober 23, 2012Visit #Fireworks retail stores, amazingly fun & artistic items. Always a great NW stop!
- The Delta lounges open at 4:45 am, but the Amex Centurion didn't open until 5.
- @TopTenJesus /May 3, 2013Wear the short shorts popular with guys in Seattle because they keep the airport hot as balls 0-:-/
- It’s all good. Expect. TSA lanes are only at gate 4...boo!
- Scott MillerJanuary 23, 2012When it rains in Seattle it's a sure sign the sun will rise in the East the next day ...bet on it!
- If you have a middle seat, you can ask the gate agent to be reseated
- Glenna LinSeptember 14, 2012Get to the airport at least an hour early for check-in and security (domestic flight). Takes a while.
- You need to take initiative when waiting in line for TSA. It's a zoo and no one pays attention to who is next. Just go!
- Fill your water bottle at the water bottle filling station in the main food court.
- If you are picking up and need to circle more than once, you're better off going to the cell phone lot. It is close and has free Wi-Fi
- Clif CameronNovember 17, 2019They were not ready for our flight arrival. “Ran out gates” had to wait for old style ramps to come out to plane then busses out the terminal then walk down other multiple ramps in rain.
- The screening lines have gotten slower and longer even with tsa precheck. Takes 45 minutes at least to pass through
- At peak times, use N hate security. And there are extra lines around the corner after ID check!
- Britton WareApril 9, 2012Look for the big African American gentleman at the TSA security checkpoint. He handles your junk the "friendliest"
- Allison WilliamsJune 22, 2014Starbucks at C9. Free wifi and outlets everywhere connected to the seats at all the gates.
- We get it, the drinking fountain makes silly noises. Now move along..
- During quieter times, they only run TSA pre-check at the northern most security checkpoint, which sucks if you fly United or Delta.
- During peak hours if you are dropping off someone avoid the line and drop them off at arrivals. The opposite holds true for picking them up.
- Zac BonheimJanuary 21, 2014If you want to use the TSA PreCheck you've earned (or paid for), get here before 8 PM.
- Love the new additions to SeaTac. I'm a big flight geek and it is always a pleasure flying though SeaTac
- Friday evening they are always backed up big time. Allow extra time for drop offs
