    Check out the Seaport on Tuesdays and Sundays for the small farmers' market there. Also, there is a ferry leaving from a nearby pier that goes to Ikea in Brooklyn.

    Want to take photos of the statue? Hop on the Staten Island Ferry. It's free, and it's close enough for some decent photos. And you don't have to remove your belt or empty your pockets
