24x7 (official airport taxi) taxis very unreliable. Don't trust them
Bureau de change will rip you off if you exchange anything but GBP to something to else. Payed 30 euros extra on a 100 euro transaction! Avoid.

Very very slow security. Give yourself 30 minutes to get through this at least

Least favourite London airport. Nonsensical layout, seems to be forever under construction, journeying to London EC/N1 is more pleasant from City Airport & Gatwick
Worst airport I've ever been to. Not enough seats, everything under construction, no outlets anywhere.
Jing LeungAugust 25, 2014Avoid. Stansted express is expensive and slow. Security line is so wide there's basically no real line. Unclear signage.
Avoid carrying bombs in your luggage they tend not to like it at security check.
