- Luke HaseloffMay 4, 2014Brunch yummies included: brussels sprout hash w bacon, peppers, paprika and eggs benedict w smoked trout, arugula & mushrooms. Dinner is also spectacular.
- They've definitely hit their stride with the menu over the last few months, so take some of the negative tips with a grain of salt. Brunch in particular is super solid. Pumpkin french toast was A+
- Kristie BakerOctober 30, 2015A bit pricey but delicious grub. After backpacking around the world for 10 months and keeping to a pretty tight budget, this was a splurge but it was well worth it. Get the Brussel sprouts side. Yum!
- The dj was playing smooth funk using real records! This alone is enough reason to go back, paired with very attentive service at the bar and the roast brussels sprout hash was tasty and well-seasoned.
- Emily CharltonApril 20, 2015Great for just sharing small plates, the mains are delicious too! The octopus, kale salad and risotto were all winners. The atmosphere is great so good for a date or small group.
- Joe GruchaczNovember 24, 2013Amazing drinks. Big fan of the Sterling Place. Didn't try the food but if the same attention to detail is carried over from the cocktail menu, this place should affix itself as a neighborhood staple.
- Tina G.September 7, 2013Pretty darn good. The Brussels sprouts are delicious. Everything else we had was creative and yummy. Chocolate peanut butter cup was delish but too much whipped cream on top for my taste.
- Larisa GrollemondOctober 26, 2015Spicy bloodys and other great brunch cocktails, delicious brunch entrees. Skip the line across the street and grab a spot at the bar here instead.
- Carla OrtizJuly 27, 2018It's a cute spot that seems perfect for a date or intimate dinner. The menu is pretty limited and on the expensive side. I had the ravioli and they were good.
- Tasha NicoleFebruary 9, 2013The music here is like the uninvited but very welcomed guest! They have turntables built right into the side of the bar & shelves of records. They are always spinning something that makes you groove
- Nina YiamsamathaMay 10, 2014Everyone talks about the Brussels sprouts hash, but the baked eggs were also delicious!
- Mara LecocqNovember 2, 2014Nice neighborhood restaurant. Decor is nice yet unpretentious. Been here twice. Pork ragu parpadelle was great.
- Get the Brussels Sprouts Hash at brunch! And wash it down with a Vodka or Gin Bloody Mary. Pro tip: Ask for sriracha sauce on the side.
- Great lunch spot close to the BK Museum. The brussel sprout hash is great (paprika!).
- thecoffeebeanersJanuary 23, 2013Swing by for baked eggs with pesto, grilled zuccini and toast! Their Counter Culture Coffee is delightful.
- Tanya ElderMay 19, 2018I love the food here but they consistently closed the kitchen early for brunch. If your sign says brunch until 4 then it should stop at 4.
- Paras ShahJanuary 20, 2013The music is great on Saturday. Brunch is a lil small but certainly filling. Looking forward to when the get a lil booze in those delicious drinks.
- CompassAugust 12, 2013Art deco decor, a live DJ, and fresh cocktails have established this recently opened spot as a sunny day drinking standard.
- Janet LinMarch 7, 2014Happy hour from 4 to 6 ($11 cocktails are $9). Cocktail menu has Vieux Carres and bar plays Animal Collective. That is a happy hour.
- Amy LeaseDecember 28, 2019Chicken pot pie. Mocktails. Kale salad. The staff made our experience an outstanding, fun time!
- Nora RawnJanuary 1, 2013New from the owners of Milk Bar; still lacking a liquor license, you can watch some advanced mixology expend itself on alcohol-free cocktails and homemade rickeys. Brunch portions are woefully small.
- EatMeDrinkMeNYCMay 11, 2013Enjoy the smooth Counter Culture cocktail with the skirt steak. The bed of potatoes it is served on would hold its own as a satisfying dish.
- Amy CoatesSeptember 12, 2015Grilled octopus is out of this world. Crispy, succulent, bursting with flavour.
- Kate LindquistMarch 17, 2013The baked eggs were filling and delicious. All those veggies made me feel healthy despite the generous sprinklings of feta and basil pesto.
- Good dinner vibes. The burger is really good, better than mayfield imo. Chicken pot pie is awesome.
- Brussels Sprout Hash tastes indulgent without leaving you feeling like you made bad choices.
- Late night happy hour on Friday and Saturday night. Deals on Kobe burgers, beer and wine.

- Will GarréMarch 3, 2013The pancakes are very good. Nice maple syrup. Better pancakes than Tom's, next door, which are totally overrated. Go home, Tom's, with your line.
- Andrew OsborneMay 27, 2013Order a fresh ginger soda or An Always Sunny cocktail while you wait for a table.
