Rita thompsonFebruary 24, 2013If possible, ask for a room with a view of the Empire State Building. Lights are beautiful at night. Bagel fans head to Daniels on 3rd ave, between 37 and 38, for breakfast. Go with veggie cr. cheese.

Great location close to grand central station. Rooms are huge to be in NYC, comfortable bed, great service...
Nice hotel. Good restaurant, Rare, attached to the hotel. Air conditioning runs a little weird so the room can't be turned into an ice box.

Nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great walking neighborhood.
If you can get one of the Suites, you get an amazing kitchenette and a great view of the Chrysler building.

Avoid the room Internet $13 charge, connect for free in lobby. Go up to room and connect to Lodgenet. This bypasses the charge :) ssssh...

Mixed, reception has the horrid New York attitude, doorman is friendly.housekeeping likes to keep leftovers in the hallway
